Sadly, I agree with you. BUT the Preds have a stronger Blogosphere than some big market teams like the Red Sox. If anything, the Preds should organize their website like the New England Patriots did and turn it into a multimedia hub where Preds fans can be linked to bloggers who actually care, think, and would have access to the Preds.

This could be a moment where the Preds could take control of the information being pushed out to the area. best part is that this will cost the team almost nothing. Just an update of the web site. That what web masters are for. The TNesan can settle with the AP, the Preds can take control of the information and can team with the owner's paper, the Nashville City Paper.

According to the article, Bryan Mullen will do so on an interim basis. The indications from the article are that the Tennessean does plan to have a Predators beat writer.

Good luck to John and I'll miss his work on the Predators.

Damnit, he was the only reason I bothered to follow the Tennessean. Any good recommendations for blogs to follow instead? (I already know about On The Forecheck.)

Thanks, Howson, for cleaning up MacLean's toxic waste. Welcome, Kekalainen; let's get good things built!

Good thing Short Shifts is gone, otherwise, think of all the downtime if they wouldn't have been able to piss about Glennon.

Best of luck to him, and hopefully Mullen does a great job.
