I'm not ready for Rangers hockey to end. Plus I cannot stand Philly sports. Please don't come out flat Friday night.

If someone would of said at the beginning of the season that in order for the Rangers to make the playoffs they had to beat the Flyers the last two games of the season I probably would of said no way that's happening.

Most people thought the Flyers would be much better than they are, so considering the Flyers have struggled as much as the Rangers the task at hand could be much more difficult.

Having said that, I've seen this storyline before. You think the coyote is finally going to catch the damn roadrunner only to watch him get hit over the head with the anvil yet again. Hope everyone is wearing their helmets.

Ouch, that hurts!

It's a daunting task, no doubt. And the odds are not in our favor. But as a Rangers fan, I wouldn't have it any other way. If we deserve to be in the playoffs by winning a playoff berth, then maybe this will prove we belong and make a run for the Cup.

Jeff Carter might return from injury and play on Friday... He's been cleared to skate. ****, that's just our luck.

Even though I'm very pumped that I'm going to the game tomorrow, I don't think they we'll make it. Our best shot is the Bruins losing out, IMO.

Well if the Bruins win tonight we'll know we have to win, or at least get a point.

We can get 3 points and the bruins can go 1-2 and we'll get in

Yeah, I understand that, but I just have very little confidence in this team. If we are able to win our games, the key factor is going to be Hank. The Bruins losing out and us getting one point sounds more likely to me. Since they have to play the Caps and Sabres.

But, then again, I've been pessimistic with this team all year.

Hard to predict this teams performance. And its getting harder to predict Hank's performance as he gets more tired.

Full speed ahead, we'll see what transpires.

Go Buffalo tonight!

Sounds like Carter is playing tomorrow

Quote:
My two cents: Carter is a lock to play tomorrow night. He did not hesitate when skating, his conditioning level is close to where it was, and the injury is unlikely to have any future impact. Oh, yeah, and he is their leading scorer.

In hockey, if you can walk, you can play.

Look for Carter to play with Scott Hartnell and Arron Asham, most likely bumping Danny Briere back to the wing.

the two times we've lost to the Flyers this year have been by shutout so as long as we can score goals in these two games we'll win! right? right?

Let's be reality folks

We are not going to beat Philly twice in a row. I don't care who their goalie is, our offense is streaky and they have Chris Pronger.

I also have zero interest in meeting Washington in the 1st round.

Watch us beat Philly twice in a row now.

I might add that if we go 2-0 and Boston only goes 1-2 or 1-1-1, we are in 7th place I.E., no Washington.

The Rangers have momentum going into the Flyer game because they just got over a huge win against the Mapel Leafs at home and they have their home crowd with them again.

Then they go on the road(better on the road than @ home) to play the Flyers again.

I think they can bring on the Flyers and beat them for their last 2 games.

If you guys want a reason to be confident, Olli has historically killed the Flyers. He is the Ranger I fear the most . . . . believe it or not.

He has 8 goals, 5 assists and 52 shots on goal in 14 games since the lockout.

I'm not running for President.

I use this board to vent and rant (sometimes irrationally) about my favorite sports team.

I'm allowed to one second call out players that suck, and another root for my team.

Sometimes people act as if what's said on this board makes a difference. It doesn't make a difference. It's a message board, not an economic think-tank.

It's not like Pronger is indestructible. He's had his not-so-good moments himself, and he plays with Matt Carle, who is really terrible as it is.

That sums up about 90% of HF boards.

If we beat Philly in OT Friday,... there could be some really strange senarios on Sunday, where we would have to pull the goalie, late in a tied game!
