I've watched my fair share of Hurricane's games. I assume you are listing Pothier as the NHL D-man?

Brett Carson has impressed me all season. He's a stud, so as far as I'm concerned he's locked and loaded at the NHL level.

McBain has looked pretty good too.

I hope we clinch, so that the NYR-Philly games become much more enjoyable and not stressful!

Got a bad feeling for tonights game, I think we'll end up clinching the playoff spot on Saturday in a very close game... Although I hope I'm wrong

I never dream about the Habs. At least very very rarely. But I had a dream about them a few hours ago. Makes no sense obviously 'cause it's going in all directions. But just want to share it in case it happens...

First, neither Halak nor Price were in net. We had a Brown in net who was just getting shelled before being replaced by a guy named Aasmussen or something like that. Canes took the lead 3-0 really fast. Well obviously, we will have our goalines in net, but let's hope that 3-0 lead was not an indication of anything. Then, surprisingly enough, at the end of the 1st period, the summary was something like we were leading 2-0 and Darche was implicated in both goals (probably assists).

So you read it first here. Either the Canes took a 3-0 lead....either we lead 2-0 with Darche with 2 points. Take the scenario you want....

McBain my boy!

I've been a big fan of his till the day he was drafted, and happy to see him doing well! Another guy I see doing well in higher levels and that looks like the player McBain will become is Will Weber. I have a lot of expectations about him, probably overrate him but that's how I see him.

I hope that the team is matured enough to have confidence to play its game. We need two more games to complete the gelling process for the playoff. It will be a test of JM's "system" and the heart and soul of the players.

They have one of the 5 top records in the NHL the last 2 months+, I doubt they got all those wins against us.

Why?

I think its on the players 100%. They know what they have to do, they just need to execute and try to be less nervous. They look like the pressure of making the playoffs is getting to them. People need to stop putting too much emphasis on the "system".

It gets pretty easy on the defense when a team stops forechecking with a 2-1 lead. F$#^%ing JM system!

Good thing the game isn't on TSN or we'd hear McGuire compare McBain to Lidstrom all game long again.

The game is on TSN and it's much better to hear him talk about him then listening to Pierre and Benoit who wouldn't even know who that kid is

The players are the one who stopped forechecking, not the system. People act like players are some kind of robots or something and Martin manipulates them like puppets. JM said it himself after the Philly game that the reason why the Habs stopped forechecking and were only defending themselves was because they DIDNT follow the system.

Why does the last 2 games of the year have to be against Carolina and Toronto, I'd take anybody else including Washington, Pittsburgh, and Jersey. That said I still think we clinch tonight but my heart can't handle this stress. I am gonna get wrecked if they win so that will be fun.

I predict Cammy has a big game as well as Gomez, I have actually been pretty accurate when I say a player will have a big game so let's hope the streak continues. Go Habs!!

I think I remember Gord Miller saying last night that they (him and Pierre) would be in Carolina tomorrow night.
