Does Our Season Hab To Be Over???

AT

2009/2010 Season Finale at the RBC Center- 7:30

Both teams should come out desperate. No doubt the Habs will be desperate to gain at least a point and clinch their spot in the playoffs. The Hurricanes should be desperate to avoid picking up any more points in the standings. With the following lineup, that shouldn't prove difficult.

Glider Sr. - Captain Consistency - #1 Power Forward

30 Goal Juice - MVP - Rosella

Rat 1 - Rat 2 - Rat 3

Twirly Bird - Retired Vet - Nonstopolus

Rat 4 - McAwesome

Rat 5 - Old fart Dman

Rat 6 - Rat 7

Actual Goalie

Tripp Tracy

Memories of happier times...

I'll be taking the trip down for this game. Fair warning though, I've been to two other games this season, the first game of the season (2-0 Philly) and the game against Phoenix (5-0 Yotes)

So, if you're going tomorrow, don't expect much scoring on our part

And I suppose you're going to take credit for that. C'mon...these guys have sucked for the home crowd for 5 out of the last 7 times, and now you think you're going to be the tipping point? So conceited...

Seriously though, this winning triumphantly on the road and taking a huge dump on their fans at home is pretty ridiculous.

Absolutely. Because we all know that they would typically do everything possible to win this game, simply because it would stick us straight in the middle of no man's land.

Well looks like I'll be there cooking out. If anyone wants to join me and my friend please say something. We are going to the grocery store right before we get there.

I was going to say we'd give you a win in exchange for one of your hot prospects, but then I noticed that you don't have any.

I wonder if Kostopoulos will get 2 points to hit his magic 22. It would be funny if he did as it would be his 5th time in doing so. That's consistency.

Do you truly believe that? There are a couple guys in their system I'd take in a heartbeat.

As much as we need to lose this is almost a guarantee win.

Pernell Karl says hi.

Danny as well.

We can give you Michael Busto for a win though.

At least we can still mess up someone else's playoff hopes. Hmm, will it be Montreal or Boston?

Or both? We win and Buffalo wins, I believe that gives the Rangers a shot.

There are 3 spots available for Boston, Montreal, New York and Philly.

Even if the Habs lose here, the fact that Philly and the Rangers play twice means someone is going to have to lose. The only way that Montreal falls out really is a couple OT wins and even then, they've got a lead on the tiebreaker.

Still, go Canes and keep that streak alive in Montreal plus it'd be nice to finish .500

Staal + Cole on the first line? That equals win. It says so right above my avatar.

For some reason I thought this game was in Montreal and the Boston game was at home, but I guess I got them mixed up. I meant the no regulation losses since 03 (?) streak

Borer is up to replace a defensman while Conboy is up to replace Bowman:

Quote:
Drayson Bowman will not play tonight because of contractual issue involving emergency callup. Casey Borer and Tim Conboy to play. 7 D-man.
So either Pothier or Pitkanen is playing
