Since no one has claimed the game, I'll put up the GDT for this game. I will edit this post later with more info about the game.

Team Scope:

Senators -- Ottawa captain Daniel Alfredsson celebrated his 1,000th NHL game on Tuesday with a 5-2 victory over the Florida Panthers. Mike Fisher scored twice and Jarkko Ruutu, Erik Karlsson and Chris Neil once for the Senators, winners of seven of their last eight. Alfredsson, who notched one assist in the game, scored the first goal of his NHL career on Oct. 13, 1995, against the Panthers. He has 375 goals and 990 points in 1,000 games spanning 13-plus seasons with the Sens.

"It feels great to win and you'll remember this game fondly," Alfredsson said. "Everybody's in a good mood after and congratulating me and happy for the win. It was a great day from the morning skate until now."

Lightning -- The Lightning will be on the outside looking in on the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the third straight season. The club dropped an 8-5 decision to the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday despite the fact Stamkos recorded his 47th of the season to keep pace with Crosby and Ovechkin in the goal-scoring race. Carolina scored five goals in the first period, including three in a span of 1:43. Brandon Bochenski scored twice for TampaBay, which is 5-15-1 in its last 21 games and has allowed 13 goals in its previous two contests.

"To put it mildly, that was pretty tough to watch," Lightning coach Rick Tocchet said. "I feel sorry for the fans on this one.

Forward lines at full strength baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I smell matchup problems for opposition. Lets see if the guys show up tonight though. I can see this being a very trying game that is hard to get up for.

I plan to watch Cowen closely. Chris Phillips paired with the new Chris Phillips?

I would prefer Neil to play with Kelly and Ruutu and then have either Shannon or Winchester playing with Cullen and Michalek.

If Cowen does play with Phillips, does that mean he's gonna play against TB's top lines all night long?

Wow what weird lines.
I understand Winchester had the game of his life the other day and he hence guaranteed his spot for today's game, but Neil with Cullen and Michalek? There seems to be a major disparity in speed on that line and Shannon would definitely compliment that term of speed.
Would love to see :

Regin - Spezza - Alfredsson
Foligno - Fisher - Kovalev
Michalek - Cullen - Shannon/Buttler
Ruutu - Kelly - Neil

I would have replaced Carkner with Cowen instead, that needs the rest the most.

Options my friend. Clouston's done it all year, he looks for options. If it doesnt work it gets scrapped, if it does work then it becomes just another combination we have. Sometimes it works for depth by finding weird chemistry, or sometimes it works in the case of certain specific matchups we face, and sometimes it doesnt work at all.

In the case of Regin it turned into what looks like will be a base top line. With Kelly with Alf and Fish it turned into a line we may go back to for checking to close out a game against opponents top line.

Its a weird line but maybe look at it this way. Cullen's snake bitten, he gets chances. Michalek lacks a little finish, he gets chances. Both of them create opportunities around the net. Neil is energy and he makes space, and he is also very capable of doing work infront of the net and banging in garbage. Its worth a try. But the "Kelly line" is basically bread and butter and likely wont be deviated from unless special circumstances arise.

Its hard for the guys to keep up for a game that basically means nothing statistically, so keeping things a little fresh and different may give guys that little boost.

I wonder if Cowen will wear his #2 or some weird number like Toronto did with Kadri.

No one probably knows because NHL teams are hush hush on injuries, but is Michalek not playing 100% healthy tonight? Is it one of those things where hes going to play, but come offseason hes heading right to surgery?

Their saying he's 100%...thats really all we know.

I dont think they'd have him back with 2 games left to the playoffs if it was one of those things were he'd eventually need surgery. Maybe a minor surgery...but if he was in need of major surgery he'd be done.

Either way I dont think were gonna know for sure. But I like to think he's fine if he's playing already. The questions about whether how major the knee injury was seemed to revolve around how bad the incident looked...

generally call-ups wear the number they were given in camp, until they make the big squad.

Got into 2 games, one at home and one in Sask. Apparently the one in Sask he was better in but it was not televised.

I think the worst kept secret around Michalek is that he probably has an ACL.
They re-hab'ed it and he is going to be wearing a brace, but it is safe to say that he will need to have surgery this summer to fix it up.

I am really looking forward to seeing how his speed is going to be affected. I think he might have a gear in less and I wonder how effective he will be if he doesn't have his game-breaking speed.

We all know that Clouston juggles the lines all the time, wouldn't be surprised if Michalek found a spot with Fisher and Kovalev by game's end, or that Winchester will play alongside Cullen and Michalek.

Michalek doesn't need the rest, he needs to find his timing before the playoffs.

Very pleased to see Cowen sneak in... Let's not forget he was touted as almost NHL ready before his injury last season and Murray has said before that he expects him to fight for a spot next season. This is a small step that might help him feel more at ease going into camp next season.

I hope he surprises us all next camp, giving us more options on the back end.
