He's knowledgeable, but he's also quite the flake.

I know... it just seems that people have ragged on this guy for years on HF boards and on facebook groups.

Just imagine him as your coach and in the dressing room with nudity.............. I bet there would be some awkward moments.

"Coach, you want to talk about the game right now? In here? Can't you see I'm in the shower?"

I'm not saying he's some sexual deviant or anything but the guy just seems very creepy. Nonetheless the guy knows hockey and also the players. I will take him over the xenophobic Don Cherry any day.

I have a hard time looking back on that run because we lost in the end plus what happened in the summer... and what's followed, but that was beautiful.

I saw that live and I couldn't believe what I just heard... and then thought, "hey, it's McGuire."

touche. I just wish we would have won.

It was unreal though, amazing.

I really think Ales will return next year and lead us to playoff success. He is the man, he just needed a year off to realize it.

Last year we almost made the playoffs - we were comfortably in 6th place for a good period of time despite icing a completely apathetic, lazy line-up. We get a healthy Bulin and a healthy Hemsky plus an influx of youthful exuberance in Eberle, Hall/Seguin then there's no reason why they shouldn't make a playoff push.

Anyone think any players after an experience like that have gone back and watched a video like the tribute ones on youtube and just thought of how amazing it was?
