Flyers fans in Montreal...

Hey all, looking for a little help...

A friend and I are taking a roadtrip from Philadelphia to Montreal tomorrow morning. What are the odds of us finding a bar/restaurant/etc that is broadcasting the Flyers/Rangers games this weekend? Are there possibly any Flyers friendly establishments?

Any help would be appreciated!

Champs on St-Laurent for sure

but it's a very important game for the Habs...so I'm sure it will be one in many places

Any ''Cage au Sports '' should also have it on

PJ's on St Jacques, 6910 will probably have the game on.

I go there with friends and wear my Flyers jersey. They have really cheap pitchers too.

Sundays game may be hard to find. Better luck going to a starbucks or someplace with free wi-fi and stream the game ;p

oh man, it'll be hilarious. You will be one of us. Any bar you go to with your philly jersey on will greet you like an ambassador. Just one thing. None of this OT crap. Pound them good and win in regulation.

If, unfortunately, the rangers win on friday, the habs lose in reg on saturday, there will be no problem finding the sunday game.

Now if they lose it in OT they better run for their lives

Sorry for bumping an "old" thread but wanted to say thanks to the city for a great time! I wore my Flyers gear the entire weekend and only had one drunk guy give us the finger. Everyone else was super awesome and would come up to us and talk Flyers/Canadiens no matter where we were. (And the games indeed were on in almost every bar we went to.) We even scored a free parking pass near the chalet at Mont Royal from a family... the Dad ran up and asked if we were from Philly and offered it to us.

No one from Montreal would get the same experience while visiting Philadelphia, so kudos and thanks for a great trip!

Only 1 finger? Geez, every morning from my home to my work, I get at least 2 or 3.....They surely liked you....

Great you had a great time. That's the spirit around here most of the time. We love seeing people from other cities and have civil conversations with them. And that's the irony of it. On this board, Habs fans are perceived really negatively....then they come around and most of them say how great they were received and so on (yes there are exceptions but I'd say the majority of them are greatly received).

Anyway, great that you liked your time.

Kinda off topic from this but semi related. Last night I was in Windsor (travelling from Indianapolis, slowly making my way to Montreal for Wednesday game). Watched the game at the casino. Got a bunch of comments but was funny, was walking down the street and some guy yelled "BOOOO" at me. Then he said he was a Bruins fan, so I asked him where he was from, thinking he was an American, and he was like Sudbury, I'm like no way, I'm from Sudbury too.

Its nice to be back in Canada among hockey fans during this time of the year.

I ran into some really friendly people while in Philly... but the moment I got within a mile of the Wachovia Center... well, not so much.

I wouldn't know of any Flyers bars. The city is very focused on the Habs. There are probably bars for non habs.
Though I've seen quite a few Flyers fans, all were rather nice. Compared to others...
Welcome to Montreal.

Welcome to Montreal.
It's an old thread. It was a thread about him being in Montreal on April 8th, he's not here anymore...

You can always find a bar that has like 50 tv's and see if they'll change the channel for you on one of them, but if I'm not mistaking a lot of the TV's take from 1-3 main feed(s) in most bars, so I'm not quite sure that would work.
