Bozak

Bruins fan here, I really think this kid is going to be a player. He's going to be scary good I think. You all talk about Kadri, I think Bozak is a better player. But I'm pretty ignorant to leafs prospects.

Thats all

Bozak probably will never be scary good.

He's been good so far, and hopefully he'll continue to improve and get a bit bigger. He's very smart, very patient, and sees the ice well. He'll be a second center with the potential for being a first center if he develops his game and strength.

Kadri, we have no idea what he'll really be at the NHL level yet. He'll likely be more of a scoring threat than bozak though.

Seems good at face-offs. A 3rd line center on a real cup contender but for the next couple of years I am happy with him as one of our top 2.

When considering Bozak and his development, you have to remember that he is 24. A significant amount older than Kadri, so it is very difficult to say who will be better.

Give Bozak a couple of years, and I believe he could consistently put up 60 points in a second line centre role.

it`s too early for a statement like that.

i see no reason why the guy can`t be a number 2 C on a contender, the way he has played so far...but again, too early to tell either way.

I've been very happy with his progress this season, But he needs to get stronger and add about 15lbs.

I think he's lived up to his hype from last year when many teams were courting him.

At the worst he'll be a 3rd. line center, but he'd have to regress.

His issue is size, and the fact he lost almost a full year of development last year, and then this year got hit by the HINI.

By the way, the hype was not Toronto based ...

this. Kadri IMO will be a very good player in a top center role, obvi this is because ima leafs fan and he is a prospect of ours . Bozak was never drafted which tells me he was either a late bloomer or noone really wanted him.... so if he became our 2nd line center and put up 60 points i would be very happy. Someone playing with real 2nd line players could put up 60, not 60 on his own. I like how he does pass first, i think the future is bright with kadri/bozak 1,2 down the middle.

Like i said I'm pretty ignorant to the prospects and what not. I just feel like every time I watch the leafs he's center of every play. Maybe its because he's there brightest spot this year. I also feel like he plays with his heart on his sleeve. He just seems like the kind of player I love.

20 goals 35+ assists isn't out of the question for Bozo next year.

That is decent 2nd. line center production.

More than decent in Chicago, San Jose or Washington. It will be very interesting to see if he has another gear and brings more game to the next training camp. He doesn't seem like he is as close to the bubble as Grabo.

I think Bozak can manage at least a slight improvement and Grabovski as well. If you look at the 1-2 punch at center in Phoenix you don't need Malkin and Crosby to have a solid year. They are not contending next season so they don't necessarily need Sundin's successor in place. Just any improvement over the year Stajan and Grabo gave them would be huge.

I doubt that Kadri is going to be any kind of a number 1 center in 2010 and I would be just as happy if Grabo returned because I suspect he could step up his game a bit. +4 on the worst defensive club in the league does not mean he was hurting the club.

When I look at Kadri and the negatives mentioned about his mental game I get the feeling he should at least start the year with the Marlies. But even though I haven't been his biggest booster I also can't see how this years Kadri is less of a player than last years JT and Duchene and they worked out. If BB doesn't think Bozak has the size you have to think he has Kadri on the same weight gain plan. As long as nobody goes backwards I think they will do alright with two out of these three. Whoever earns the spots.

Thanks for the thoughts, but there's nothing "scary good" about Bozak IMO. his game screams solid 2-way 2nd line centre. A terrific find as a college free agent, though, to be sure.

Kadri's natural offensive talent is higher, certainly he has top-line player potential, but whether that translates into a better player overall than Bozak remains to be seen.

Bozak is already better than a 3rd line center.

He has ridiculous skating, vision and hockey sense, and top notch passing skills with very good hands.

The guy is a player. He's going to be a 70+ point 1st/2nd line center. Just watch.

3rd line centers can't skate, see the ice or pass like Bozak.

Maybe he'll be a late-bloomer ala Marc Savard? *fingers crossed*
