Buffalo:

Given the fact that we have no idea which of our forwards will be off the injured list, and whether Ennis and/or Gerbe will be kept up or sent down when (if) we are healthy, and if they are kept up how the lines will look, any projection of the Sabres playoff roster in this thread will likely be inaccurate. However, assuming that we get full health, this is my best guess.

Hecht/Ennis-Connolly-Pominville
Kennedy/Ennis-Roy-Vanek (yes, Vanek can play his off-wing and moved to RW when Kennedy was put on this line) OR Vanek-Roy-Stafford
Torres/Ellis/Hecht-Gaustad-Grier

Cammalleri - Plekanec - A. Kostitsyn
Pouliot - Gomez - Gionta
S. Kostitsyn - Moore - Moen
Pyatt - Lapierre - Darche/Bergeron

Markov - O'Byrne
Hamrlik - Spacek
Gill - Gorges
(Bergeron)

Injured : Metropolit

Best case scenario is to find a place for Bergeron on defense. But if we can't, then he plays on the 4th line. Once Metropolit is back, then we can expect a rotation on the 4th line that would include Pyatt and Darche. Pouliot's spot with Gomez is not secured also, because of the way he's been playing recently.

You forgot Edler. I personally think it will be Raymond-Kesler-Grabner, Demitra-Wellwood-Samuelsson.

Senators:

kovalev left tonight's game and looks to be out for more than a few games, so i'll roll with that.

Regin-Spezza-Alfredsson
Foligno-Fisher-Cheechoo
Michalek-Cullen-Shannon/Donovan/Winchester/Butler/Z. Smith
Ruutu-Kelly-Neil

kovalev in for shannon would be a major boost.

On defense we have kuba out until at least the 2nd round, so:

Phillips-Volchenkov
Sutton-Karlsson
Campoli-Carkner
(Lee, Cowen, Wiercioch, D. Smith)

Elliott
Leclaire
Brodeur

You never know what the lines will look like with Lemaire behind the bench, but they will probably look something like this.

Parise - Zajac - Zubrus (Langenbrunner)
Kovalchuk - Elias - Langebrunner (Zubrus)
Rolston - Niedermayer - Clarkson
Pandolfo (Leblond) - McAmmond - Pelley

Martin - Skoula
Salvador - Greene
White - Mottau

Brodeur
Danis

Thanks for the input so far gentlemen! Any possibility that we could get some PP lines thrown in there too? Thanks.

Rangers

Dubinsky - Christensen - Gaborik
Prospal - Jokinen - Parenteau
Voros - Drury - Callahan
Shelley - Anisimov - Prust
Avery, Weise, Boyle, Lisin

Staal - Rozsival
Del Zotto - Girardi
Redden - Eriksson
Gilroy

Lundqvist
Auld

Dubinsky and Prospal are interchangeable. Callahan might be out with an injury, so Weise would fill in there. Avery is out with an injury, as is Boyle.

From what I've heard, Kunitz & Guerin don't play well together. Am I just very off base?

They seem to really like Demitra playing with kesler so I'm not sure. Even tonight's game wont give us a good read on this.

As for the fourth line, it really depends on the team we're playing. I see Bernier getting in for sure but a guy like Hansen may sit if they want a more physical presence on the fourth line

Worked last year in the playoffs but Guerin's struggled this year and Kunitz has had injuries so we haven't seen them together a whole lot. I think Adams will probably dress instead of Rupp.
