off topic a bit, but Alex Burrows says Wings are "very beatable".

Canucks' Alex Burrows doesn't like Detroit, says Wings are 'very beatable'
Chris McCosky / The Detroit News
Columbus, Ohio -- Seems Vancouver's Alex Burrows isn't a big fan of the city of Detroit -- or the Red Wings.
When asked by AOL FanHouse about playing Detroit in the playoffs, Burrows said, "We don't mind facing anyone, but as far as Detroit, the only thing I dislike is having to fly there and having to stay there, to have to spend a couple of days in that city."
Well, well.
"Hockey-wise, they're a good team, but they're very beatable," Burrows said. "The last time we were at their building (March 3), we won 6-3. All the teams in the West are good, and any team you play is a tough challenge. No one is a walk in the park."
The Canucks are likely to play the team that finishes sixth in the Western Conference.
It would be beautiful if San Jose or Phoenix can get matched up with them. Judging from both of those team's play lately, I want nothing to do with either of them or Detroit.

Why?
It's not like the Hawks should be underdogs or afraid
Just on the side....Im tired of hearing wings fans complain about injuries this year. The Hawks werent healthy all year...Hossa a big chunk, BOlland most of the year, campbell, ect. And they still ran away and hid with the div.
They ran away and hid.
but 2 weeks ago you posted "The Hawks will not win the Division"
I'm tired of hearing about the Wings like they are some mythical beast we have to slay. They have a good team but so do we and we already proved last year that we can play playoff hockey so to me, even though I truly hate them, they are just another team in our way. Bring em on.
We need more guys like these. I am fed with all these people saying, "Oh the Red Wings are on a great streak, they are favorites" or "Everyone is scared of the Red Wings because bla bla bla bla". ****. The Wings have as good as a chance as any other team, enough of which teams you rather not play.
By Burrows logic, Canucks are even more 'very beatable' than DRW since they lost to the LA Kings 8-3. mhmm
Now I want Wings to play Canucks instead of Hawks.
He probably said that because he (like myself) is probably sick of everyone giving the Wings the cup already and acting like any team that faces them has NO chance of winning. It's getting annoying. Yes the Wings are a very good team but they aren't the only good team in the west. I wouldn't be excited to face the Wings that's for sure, they are scary but the hype around them is more than enough.
If Nashville and LA both pick up wins, then the Hawks winning the next game would be a real kick in the teeth to San Jose, because not only would it give them the conference title, but it would send the Red Wings into a 1st round match-up with the Sharks.
In a different thread I said, the teams could care less who they play. I said the fans are the ones that are afraid of certain matchups. And you proved it by starting a thread rejoicing not having to play the DRW.
You don't have to be scared of an opponent to prefer playing a clearly weaker team instead. lol HF.

Well, sooner or later, if the Sharks want to get over the hump, they are going to have to beat the best. That means going through Detroit. There is nothing to lose. No one wants a match up with Detroit, but in a make-or-break year for the Sharks, it might be the best thing to happen to them.

Yeah...about that.
I was telling myself that last year about the Ducks. No thanks.
Would that be the first #2 seed to be an underdog in the 1st round? I've heard of 3 seeds being dogs because of winning a weaker division, but...
