Really wish I could be at this game. I'd rather be at this game than our first home playoff game. LOL Oh well, guess I'll have to settle for watching it on CBC, glad to know they are showing it. Sucks for all those Sens/Alfie fans that can't see it, typical CBC Toronto homerism. You can bet that if it was a Sundin-based ceremony, hell even Tucker or Gilmour, they'd be piping it to the whole country.
I remember reading that Alfie is going to wear a different jersey in each period, and that one is going to his family (naturally), one to the HHoF, and one elsewhere (to the team?) Where was the third one going again? I think a nice idea would be for him to wear at least a fourth game jersey, and auction it off. The proceeds would go to Roger's House, or to Alfie's favourite charity. This way, a Sens/Alfie fan would get a game-worn Alfie jersey (that would instantly become my prized possession, especially if it was autographed), and a great charity could get some funding.

Hecht is only out the regular season. He should be back for game one. He's either (A) Resting some bumps and bruises or (B) Rumor that he has a slight fracture in an index finger. Either way he should be back for the playoffs.

I have Shaw Direct and get CBC Ottawa so I will get it. Most other service providers only have CKWS which only shows the Toronto games or Montreal games if Toronto isn't playing.
