Leclaire has been solid the past couple of games. Good choice.

Donovan will get his goodbye game.

I don't quite understand starting Leclaire. Elliott's never lost to Buffalo before, and another tune-up game before the playoffs would have been good.

Maybe after what happened with Kovalev, he doesn't want to take a chance with Elliott?

Well Buffalo are a bunch of pansies, especially considering that tool Kaleta is out.

I'll be sad to see Chum go. I can't beleive they can't/won't sign him to a 1 year deal for, say, 500k. Or is he choosing to retire?

Clouston is trying to give Leclaire some motivation heading into the playoffs. I personally think it's a good move. He started Leclaire in Alfredsson's 1000th game and now he's starting him in Alfredsson's celebration game.

I want him to resign but I have the feeling that he is retiring.

I really like Donovan, I even got to know him a little bit last summer but I think its time to move one. There will be a lot of young guys battling for spots next year. There's no sense having another 1 way contract around preventing a guy like Daugavins from getting to the show.

That's just it. If Donovan wants to play im sure somebody will give him a year, there just isn't room for him in Ottawa anymore.

That's fine, but still would have liked to see Elliott get in there. Now it will be a while since his last start once the playoffs begin.

Lee and Z. Smith called up, I wonder if they get in tonight to rest some guys.
