After last game's disaster, I think they should just forfeit the game, or put in every reserve we have available.

What if Elliott plays tonight, and gets injured?

That'd be far worse than Leclaire having a mental setback. Why risk it?

We've already lost Kovalev, and if it was my decision, I'd be scratching guys like Spezza, Alfredsson and Karlsson as well. Obviously you can't because it's Alfie's night, but I do hope those guys see limited minutes.

Coaches talk to the goaltenders. I am sure he talked to Elliott. If Elliott would have wanted to start, he would have!

I've been a goalie for 13 years now (most of it competitive hockey) and coaches do talk to their goaltenders and ask them how they feel and if they want to start.

Clouston: You ready to go?
Elliott: I guess so.
Clouston: What's wrong buddy, you don't wanna go in?
Elliott:

Clouston: Pazzy!!?

This is the pros though. If he wanted Elliott to start I think its blasphemy to think he would have turned it down, if thats what your saying.

This is a day that will be cemented in our franchines's history, make it memorable for yourself and the players!!!

PS: can someone please record the ceremony, i have no way of recording the game tonight so if there is a video out there that would be incredible!

It probably has to do something with the jerseys they will wear. Maybe they will all be wearing Alfredsson jerseys? Or some players will wear the various jerseys of Sens past (and maybe Frolunda). That would be pretty cool.

You realize that Buffalo isn't a scrub team that is out of the playoffs. They have just as much concern about the health of their players as we do. There is little chance that this game gets out of hand, especially considering that the outcome will have little to no bearing on the final standings. Both teams will probably focus pretty hard on systems and controlled play. Buffalo may try to break their curse against the Sens, but you can be sure that both coaches will be preaching some level of restraint.

Let the players play their game. You can't shy away every time someone gets injured.

Getting that win (along with, hopefully, 15 more) in the playoffs is much more important. With that being said, he needs a rest, and Leclaire needs confidence.

Super pumped for this game. I have been talking about it for about a week now. I got the Spezza jersey on and I am NOT patiently waiting for 7:00.

I hope Leclaire has an awesome game tonight.
