If Sergei's benched, I'll be glad the team misses the playoffs.

YES! and they shall focus on getting french players on the ice, just like in the 70's.

sorry for the uppercut ...

seriously... I'd rather lose with the guy that carried our arses all season rather than contemplate price's red carpet for yet another epic fail ...

there is one saying I heard that helped me a lot in coaching ... ''always go with the guys you are willing to lose with'' ...
Again, I agree with you... I wasn't really talking about Price or Halak.. I was just saying that for some reasons, there is players that tend to dominate against another thru a career, years in years out, no matter against what players, coaches, goalies to play against...

That being said, I think it's just the normal course of action to see Halak there tonight and I hope the habs will be in the playoff... Don't want to have the Penguins in the 1st round at RDS unless they play against the Habs

Is it too much to expect nothing less than 10 goals from the Habs tonight?

What? Sergei CAN'T sit. Last night I dreamt that he'll score 2 goals! (I'm serious)

You're right. 0 goals is acceptable. Halak will stand on his head, shut down the leafs and get us to overtime where we can loose with no guilt.

Maybe they're trying Gomez with the bros

Seriously, Martin probably told them something about how important their contribution his for the team I guess. Hope they show up tonight (if they're in the lineup)

If it makes anyone feel better, I'm 6-2-1 in the stands this year and I'll be there tonight. In addition, I'm 3-0-0 in the seat I've got tonight. Muahahaha!

ckac is all about fking baseball, are you kidding me... they spend the year making non stories about hockey when there were plenty of other sports to talk about, but when we want to know anything about the habs in the most important game of the season, they are not talking about anything that sounds like hockey ...

bergeron on d ?

who sits ?

injuries ?

the rumours are flying around ... but hey , let's talk about baseball ...

OK, redemption is at hand. We got these vets for a reason. This is Habs hockey, it can (in the new era) never just be an easy coast to a playoff spot and we still might finish the season the second highest we have since the dark ages. I'm going to give them a pass and get behind them.

Go Habs Go!

Nous sommes...gagnants.

I honestly wouldn't care if we lost tonight and missed the playoffs. At least the Bulldogs would get Tom Pyatt and Ben Maxwell back.

from HIO:
"(Hockey Night In Canada's Elliotte Friedman reported on Twitter that Mathieu Darche is in, Ryan O'Byrne said he's in and it seemed that Sergei Kostitsyn would be a healthy scratch. But upon further review, Friedman said it seemed likely that it would be either Kostitsyn, Maxim Lapierre or Tom Pyatt who sits.)"

geeeeee...I wonder. FAIL. Darche better be a hero in some way tonight.

I hope the Habs can play a solid 60 minutes of hockey tonight.. If there ever was a time to play with desperation tonight's the night...

However after watching the last 2 Habs games I don't have much confidence this team as what it takes to show up tonight when the pressure is on.. Chances are Giggy will stand on his head and the Leafs with absolutely no pressure on them will probably win 4-2...

The Leafs have been playing some good hockey since the break and they always play way over their heads against the Habs so the Habs better be prepared or the choke job will be complete tonight...
