where the hell was Gaborik? Why didn't he shoot.

Seriously the season comes down to Ollie Jokeinen?

Poor Lundqvist, he deserved better. Jokinen is a POS. Watched all game and never heard his name. I even forgot he was with the Rags and he's in my hockey pool.

Right cause we're not 2-1-1 against them this year.

I'm feeling so, so bad for Lundqvist right now.

Jokinen over Gaborik is a joke.

Feel bad for Lundqvist too but man, that second goal looked pretty bad.

I would imagine it will be Varlamov and not Theodore.

Edit: Although looking at their stats I guess it will be Theo, figured Varlamov had played more games than Theo

why do you sign a player like Gaborik when you start Christensen, end with Jokinen to DECIDE THE SEASON!!!! Ultimate fail of SO choices. He's your best scorer and you don't put him in. Your best player aside from the goalie. If torts was punishing him.....NOT THE TIME!!!

Theodore, I believe, is something like 20-0-3 since his last regulation loss.

PS. Varlamov played less game cause he was injured or it'd probably look a bit closer.

anyone watching the thing about the Aviators, pee wee team (I think) and when they interviewed the kid about how his female teammate laid him out. I wish I had a youtube of that. So priceless. His facial expressions....oh man, LOL

Tortorella went with the numbers.

Jokinen was 5 on 9 this year in shootouts.

Gaborik is 1 on 5.

I rather play the Caps, so I'm happy. It will be a very exciting series.

Theo went undefeated for 23 games (20-0-3)...time for him to go on a bad streak.

I'm aware of the numbers but with the season on the line, I'd go with Gaborik. Jokinen is a pure loser....always was.

not like any of our opponents would have been a walk in the park. you can hope miller is tired, you can hope brodeur is tired, you can hope to stop sid, you can hope to stop OV. for real, any of those options this playoffs is pretty much balanced. every team has that main weapon they've relied on. i don't think we were any more or less likely to stop any one more than the other. we've done well against each team this season. and we have a shot at beating the caps for sure.
