Looked like 25 goals were wrist shots in the slot, but he also got some nice hands, and sweet moves, BB really got a good one in Phil, a pure goal scorer, something we have been missing for a while now. Not to take anything away from Mats, but most of his goals were roofed back handers within 3 feet of the goal or ugly rebounds cause he had the size and strength to sit in the crease, last guy I can remember that could score from 20 feet out was Ricky Vaive and he did it with a slap shot flying down the wing.

Thanks for the vid. I'd echo the sentiments that the song sucked. But really, any song would suck, it takes away from the video. No song is going to make me more pumped or excited about the goals than the calls will, and in the worst case scenario it actually makes the video worse, and something you have to mute. It's nice to see all the goals laid out like that though. He really is dangerous on the rush with a bit of room. Which is why Kulemin and Bozak are such great linemates for him. They create room. One through a strong forecheck, and the other through slick passing. And they've all got good speed. I'm still a defender of the Kessel trade. I don't mind giving up first or second overall this year for a guy like him. However, if next season's draft pick puts us back in the top 5, I'll be pretty annoyed.

Yeah I didn't mean to bash on the song, because the music is always going to be subjective and you won't be able to please everyone.

With that being said, there is universally liked music out there. Look at what Nike did to TV on the Radio's "Wolf Like Me"... I would totally suggest that to be the song for Kessel's goals, but I'm sure Nike exhausted that song.

You could find something from Glasvegas (ridiculously awesome band) like "Geraldine" or you can do a 180 and use LMFAO's "Yes" or MGMT's "Kids".

I would Glasvegas it up.

All song choices have been weak so far. Brand New? Blah.

Now there's a song that'll pump you up.

If he gets a solid centerman and has a full healthy season...I think he could hit 50 goals.

He really has one of the best wrist shots in the league.

You know it's weird, I watched it a couple of times and couldn't see Marc Savard doing all the work for Kessel anywhere. Not one goal.

Thanks for the video. I didn't have a problem with the song, in fact I rather liked it. If people wanted something symbolic I'd have to say Line and Sinker by Billy Talent would work well.

It seems like a lot of his goals were clutch ones, which I like to see!

I would use Red Flag by Billy Talent. Get rid of our 5/6 years of pain and hope for the best.
