Nevermind we came close and didn't play our best hockey, I guess wel'll take game two. It didn't expect an easy series so its just one game take game two and we'll be fine. If we somehow lose it ...well then the pressure is ours.

The Habs won game 1. So both 8th seeded teams in both conferences won game 1. I do not know how the Sharks found a way to lose to the Avs, but I expected a longs series between the Habs and Caps.

I also think the Wins-Yotes series will go 7 games.

It's the Sharks, they just find ways to blow games in the playoffs.

As for the Caps, I was surprised, I didn't expect Montreal to do anything.

Back to the Wings, they need to get their special teams together and crash the net. Do that, and they'll win.

This is kind of a random question, but I'm heading to Detroit to check out game 3 on Sunday afternoon and I was just wondering if you guys usually do the white-out thing with towels/t-shirts? Also, do they usually give out/sell towels/t-shirts at the game?

All 7 series tied at 1 after 2 games. We'll see if the Hawks can tie it.

Go wings!!!!

Why is that? Not a fan of Brodeur or something?

I want the Pens out as soon as possible and by any means necessary. NJ really seemed to match up well with them in the regular season.

I wouldn't mind a Pens/Wings rubber match. But we'll see how the remainder of the playoffs finish.

Match up? They pwned them! It was a complete one sided series between NJ and Pitt and now Pitt have one of their biggest threats out of the way. It's going to be BOS-PITT and PHI-WAS and then Caps will have a rematch with the Pens.

I still hope the Sabres can win the series.

Why do my posts get deleted for defending our boards while other fanbases get to troll?

I had the Devils in 4, they lost to the Flyers and I had the Sens in 6, but it is the Pens is 6.

I thought the Sharks would win in 4, it took them 6.

I hope I was right here, Wings's series.

Is it just me, or has Kronwall not really been the playoff Nik Kronwall that we've known the last couple of years?

Where are the punishing hits? I keep thinking they're coming, but here we are in game 7... it's hitting time buddy.

We could have used one of those momentum changing hits after the short handed goal in the first yesterday. Actually we could have used a powerplay goal, but that's beside the point.

He's taken a couple runs at guys but the Yotes are looking for it and they've taken advantage when he has jumped out of position.

He has been pretty bad this whole series. Even in the games they've won, he's not playing well.

Well, Chicago are the third team to clinch a spot in the semi-finals. Now whoever wins game 7 tomorrow will play San Jose...interesting.

I said this elsewhere on the boards, but I'll say it here, too.
I think Kronwall is hurting.
He's such a great skater, and we're not seeing that at all.

Well, you can still get Caps in 7. I expect Buffalo and NJ to win. but my other picks were pretty much spot on.

I chose the Sens and Sabres because I hoped they would win.
I picked the Devils because I thought they should win, but I chose the sweep hoping to jinx them and it "worked".
I also picked the Caps in 7, but I actually hope the Habs win it in 7.
I was almost sure the Wings series would go to 6-7 games.
