NHL Live is interviewing Rick Dudley

This is news to me, but in a couple minutes Duds will be on NHL Live.

Sorry for the short notice.

I think it's on XM or Sirius radio on the NHL's channel.

from the interviews its pretty easy to see why JA was fired.

1) he wants a coach that can adapt to different systems depending on what type we are facing

2) Bogosian and Little went backwards in development

Little fell halfway down the stairs and i'm pretty sure Bogosian took the whole staircase worth of steps backwards.

this is possibly the least talked about problem the coaching staff had. i'm not as worried about little as i am bogosian. little still played well most of the time but was really unlucky and even if he doesn't make it back to 31 goal form any time soon he is mostly on our 2nd line and we can afford for him to underachieve a little.

bogosian on the other hand has to become our best player within 3 years or else we're not going anywhere.

That's a totally unrealistic expectation. What you're saying is basically that there's no way that Bogosian can live up to the expectations you have for him.

He's 19, it's his second year in the league. Give the guy a break.

His first season here was an exceptional one. Last year, on the other hand, he fell down an entire stair well.

He may not be our "best player" in three years, but he really needs to get better. We really need a coach that can handle the job of developing the kids.
