More like Rochester, New York. Rochester is the FOX affiliate across Canada..we get Detroit's channels and Seattle's as well.

If your really lucky and you live in Manitoba, you can get the FOX signal out of North Dakota and Minnesota..

He did 4 nights a week for Late Night too.

Guess Howard's not the only lazy entertainment figure out there who takes Fridays off. Letterman and Conan do too.

Seriously, that was one of the good things about the Tonight show with Conan. He worked all 5 days, and he was hilarious all 5 days. The only time I recall him taking a day off which wasn't due to vacation was that incident where he had a slight injury after running around in studio.

Letterman doesn't tape on friday's, but he does five shows a week. They tape two shows on Thursday.

Maybe he's changed, but I went to a recording in 08 that was on a Monday, and it was for the following Friday. Just nitpicking, but still...

I couldn't see them doing that. The jokes would be too far out of date by the end of the week.

I'm 100% sure I went on a Monday, and 100% sure it was for Friday's episode. Trust me.

Craig Ferguson does it all the time. Conan's style probably doesn't lend itself well to that though. But the sketches and interviews would still be the same. If you are watching Conan for a great topical monologue though I think you should look elsewhere.

He's passable as a late night talking head for 6 minutes at the top of the program but I still maintain that if they actually blew up the monologue and added some sort of cold open sketch it would be better than the current format. That would probably be breaking convention a little too much though for the suits at Turner; at least in the beginning. I love a good monologue but Conan's just isn't. I'd take Dave, Craig, Leno, and Lopez over Conan's.

As I said , for the entire run of the Tonight Show, Conan's monologues are pretty bad, the funny stuff in his show are the skits or the charades he does after the monologues. I also commented that Leno's monologues were actually funnier than Conan's when I used to watch both of them on recorded VHS in 2003-ish.

Conan would reference the bad jokes in the monologue on Late Night when the crowd would not react and he'd go into an impromptu charade. "BOOOO WHAT'S HE DOING" and then act out some more wacky nonsense and move on to the next joke.

The thing about the Tonight Show is that his monologues were a lot longer than they were on the Late Night show, so hopefully in the TBS show they shorten his monologues and let him goof around more behind the desk. I'd rather see more of his video features where he goes around town / certain events interviewing random people.

Which reminds me, I miss Wax Tom Cruise and Wax The Fonz.

Conan's monologues were never that great to begin with. But they were far from terrible.

It was best served on Late Night with keeping monologues short and making more time for skits.

That was disgusting.

Actually, I would have no problem eating that sandwich if it wasn't for mayo... and fiber... and the toy.

If you could substitute salsa with tomato sauce, I would demolish that sandwich.

The only bad thing about Conan moving to TBS?

You know TBS will plug it like crazy. TBS mercilessly shoves promos down viewer's throats for shows. I mean, I had no idea Frank Caliendo's new show was coming up! Thanks for telling me for the ten thousandth time!

I may boycott the entire TBS broadcasts and just listen to the games on radio just to avoid being driven crazy by merciless, repetitive promos for Conan's new show. You know they will do it. They've done it before.

Doubt there will be a live feed, seeing how crazy paranoid cable companies are about their content being streamed for free.

Damn...guess I will miss out on the Conan experience
