Sorry, it's the playoffs. No quarter shown to opposing goalies in the home barn, especially the likes of Theodore. Underdogs (and if possible, their fans) are expected to exploit any possible weakness in order to help level the playing field.

Why don't we boo the entire Washington team, that'll make things fair and square.

We should change our goal song to this for our series against the Caps:

nothing in this world ... dadada...

As long as the booing is kept "normal" I'm fine. The moment someone makes fun of his lost child, I won't be a happy a camper.

I honestly cant see anyone doing that. Thats way out of the context of the game and sooooooo low.

I've read a lot of reaction to your proposal, some of it rather harsh. I come instead in peace.

How about a fair compromise - fans agree to go through the motions and not get on Theo too childishly, Theo agrees to go through the motions and not stand on his head too much, Habs win quick and give Theo a nice ADULT-like respectful salute at the end of game 4, and Theo gets to go back to his family on an expedited basis to help take care of them as well as his foundation. Deal?

Like all Paris Hilton songs, the instrumental sounds like it could be a very decent pop song, then the vocals rip through the thing like a drunk girl at a white tie event.

Oh jeez, your poor bleeding heart. Habs fan will boo the **** out of him, but its to get under his skin and give their team "home ice advantage". Its nothing personal...

I thought my compromise offer was fair, given the OP's priorities.

Theo will choke regardless if we boo him or not. It's an implosion waiting to happen, and if the Caps seriously want to beat us, they'll do what's right and sit him down on pine.

Booing will just have that extra satisfaction.

Theeeeeooooo

If the request is that he not get booed... Ha, good luck.

If the request is not to hold up signs or mock him for losing a child... Well that's just basic humanity. Not that the Bell Centre crowd is known for basic humanity all the time, but I think that's low even for them.

I think 99.9% of the population understand "the line."

If no one in the crowd has a sign with a photoshopped bald Theo and a bottle of Propecia, I'll be sorely disappointed.

everyone knows that no hab fan is going to taunt theo over the tragic loss of his child, that is 100% guaranteed. as per the OP's request

it should be forwarded to the 'the most hysterical and entertaining' thread list on the main board
