Question... If the Rangers win the lottery will we actually find out, because last year as far as I remember only the top 5 teams are shown...

The most you can go down is 1 spot. Considering the 4 teams below you have low odds, chances of that happening are slim

I am loling at anyone who wants to trade MDZ.

Thank god you people don't run this team because even SATHER isn't that stupid.

If they traded him I'd seriously consider being a fan of this team anymore thats how important i see him in the future. Staal, MDZ, Gaborik and Lundqvist are 4 absolute untouchables on this team unless AO, Crosby, Malkin or possibly (only one proven season) Stamkos is coming back in the return.

This team is such a mess, our offense cant score, and our defense cant defend (outside Staal and Girardi). Id trade a year of development of MDZ for a center who can help our offense in a heartbeat. I don't think people understand that having an offensive defenseman is a secondary position, it should in no way be a priority over a solid scoring center. First and foremost forwards score, and defenseman defend. When you have that then you can compliment your team with the Green's and Datsyuk's of hockey.

hes 19 friggen years old, you cant trade a rookie defensemen that had 9 goals, he's has the potiental to be a next Leetch, he will never ever be as good as leetch, but he will be a top paring defenseman... you need to build around players like that

fyi a great defense makes a good offense..

You need both. Trading one for the other will get you nowhere.

Lottery winner will nbe the Islanders. They are the franchise that needs a new rink the most. Just like Crosby to Pittsburgh. Bettman does not like to see relocations.

I disagree. A good example is Gonchar. He is monumentally important to that Pittsburgh team. I think he alone improves that team by 10-15 points in the standings. How many times has he single handily killed us on the PP? I lost count..

An offensive defenseman you can quarterback the PP is absolutely essential if you want your team to be good. It's not just a "secondary" position

MDZ's potential is through the roof. We don't have any defenseman who is even remotely close to having his offensive upside

The channel info says that the Versus broadcast is going to be an hour long. Really? How much filler am I going to have to sit through before they draw the ball?

After watching the 5 GM's with a chance of getting the #1 pick on TSN, it's become clear to me that the reason Sather refuses to let the Rangers get a top 5 pick is because that would force him to appear on TV and speak to the media as well as hockey fans.

Nevermind. The hotel I'm in has Versus.

Is it just me or does Taylor Hall pencil in his eyebrows? I thought I was looking at Liza Minelli for a second.

I listened to Gary Betteman today on the Radio and it sounded like he regrets the screwing the Rangers got several years ago when Crosby was first. Maybe a "Patrick Ewing lottery" tonight.
