Victor Tikhonov?

Greetings friends!

I was wondering if anyone of the Russian fans here could tell me: Has Victor Tikhonov (the Grandfather / Coach, not the Coyote) retired into the country-side never to be heard from again?

I know he was at the exhibition game in Red Square a few years ago, but I was wondering if he's still in the public-eye? Still involved in Hockey anywhere, or Politics maybe?

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

-Thanks!

So he is still involved in hockey then? Does "Honorable President" imply that he's actively involved with the club? (i.e. - Is that akin to a "GM" position?)

Or is like here in the States where an "Honorary Captain" of a team often doesn't really have anything to do with the club...

yes honorary is what I meant. I think his involvement is minimal. He comes to see some games, has a right to express his opinion - see Red Auerbach for the Celtics, when he was alive.
