Heart and grit go a long ways and the Sioux have always had it. Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard.
Remember in the middle of last season I said this would be the year they take it all. The group as a whole isn't as talented as last year, but it's a squad that busts their ass and believes.

Reminds me of the 97' team when they won it all. Long ways to go but how can you not like the fight this team has. Ya just never know.
Does anyone know if there will be a stream for tonight's game? I would love to watch it. Good luck tonight, I'll be rooting your guys on from north of the border!

The only one I could find is THIS ONE and I'm not sure if it's free. It looks to be.
If you can't get the video feed, both the Denver and North Dakota team sites will have audio, but both charge a fee for them.
Very one sided game. Was Denver missing some players?
Anyway hope you make it to the Frozen Four.
Yeah, Sam Brittain. Couldn't figure out why Gwozdecky started Olkinuora instead of Brittain, especially with the way Brittain played against UMD yesterday (Friday). :shake head
Other than Beau Bennett, David Makowski and Paul Phillips (who was injured in the UMD game), everyone played. Larraza was actually moved to defense because of the shortage of defensemen with Makowski and Phillips out.
Well UND will face Western Michigan in the West Regionals. At least the UND faithful won't have to travel far. Heck, they all may stick around for another week.
This is a good matchup and I can tell from having seen a lot of the Broncos this season, they aren't an easy draw. UND will have to be prepared and bring their "A" game to face Andy Murray's boys. They dismantled Miami in the CCHA Tournament semi-final and gave Michigan all they could handle in the Mason Cup championship.
Likewise, WMU will have to do the same. WMU knows that they'll have their work cut out in UND and they're well aware of their depth and the dominance they showed in the WCHA Final Five.
IMO, the West Regional looks to be the toughest bracket because the other regional matchup has the Gophers going up against Boston University. Lots of talent on both teams - interestingly, the two goalies facing each other are both Colorado Avalanche prospects.
Now I know you Sioux (and Gophers) fans would love nothing more than to have a Sioux/Gophers regional final. But we'll have to wait and see.
In any case, good luck against WMU on Saturday. Should be a good game and I'll be watching.

Very tough draw for the Sioux. Both teams coming in red hot. I will give the nod to the Sioux not only because I'm a bit biased but they know the rink and the place will be rocking with a sea of green. They have fared pretty well at the Ralph Engelstad South Arena lately. 13 in a row.Tough redion as is the Northeast one.
Good luck to you guys on Saturday, it should be a great game. It's been such a fun ride as a WMU undergrad the last couple years (CCHA Finals last year, finally winning this year ).

This has to be the bracket of death, 4 good teams in the same bracket. Good luck to all the teams here.
Your bracket is the 2nd toughest in my book. Obviously you have the 16 seed in there but Maine and defending champ UMD are no slouches. I did pick your boys to win it all once again. So much talent on that team. Going to be tough to beat them. Going to take a hot goalie to do it and a bounce here or there.
Did you all know that all four of the participants in this season's Icebreaker Tournament back in October in Grand Forks are all in the NCAA Tournament?
This year's Icebreaker participants were: North Dakota, Boston College, Michigan State and Air Force.
