bingo.

I don't think they'll win a cup with it, but they're in just about any game because of that style.

Hat Trick on an overtime game winner after being down 4-1? I'd be going ******* nuts too.

uh these fools celebrate like that in the regular season. It's one freakin game, game 2 at that. I've seen many OT games with the canes in the playoffs and they sure as hell didn't act like that. Sure game 7 go ape *****, but game 2, i thought brucie was gonna have a freakin stroke.

Of course im just pissed that the habs suck. They had the caps reeling and pissed it away. I freakin hate the caps...LOL

Andrew Alberts, 23 penalty minutes in Vancouvers first 2 games. Stupid penalty after stupid penalty. I don't exactly know off the top of my head who the Canucks have for depth on defence, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if Alberts is a healthy scratch for game 3.

LMAO, I look foolish because the Caps happened to eek out a win against the #8 seed by employing their offensive star floater gameplan? Tell me I look foolish once Boudreau's gameplan fails yet again in the playoffs against a real team. There's absolutely no reason the Caps should not be dominating this series. Halak can steal a game here and there but the Caps haven't made him by their ****tastic play. Just because they won does not mean Boudreau isn't a horrible playoff coach. Get back to me when they make it past the 2nd round.

They won't win a Cup with "that style". Sure, Washington can win 6-5 games vs. pathetic defenses like Montreal, but they are going to get worked by any legit defensive team. I've seen too many teams who try to do the regular season run and gun in the playoffs, just too crash out because defense actually matters in the playoffs.

My bad guys if those posts appear to be hostile or whatever. I'm actually surprised at how well they were typed considering the state I was in last night.

I think we all want Washington to fail, so that's good enough for me.

Yes...he has looked terrible. I know some were upset when we traded him at the deadline..but I still think guys like Alberts are plentiful in the NHL and won't miss him.

I see Justin Williams was also a healthy scratch last night. He looked terrible the first game and was directly responsible for one of the goals (turned it over in the offensive zone then got beat back). He hasn't looked very good at all after returning from injury.\

EDIT: I see eerodynamic already commented on Williams scratch earlier in the thread.

Interesting how every series is tied 1-1 (except Chicago/Nashville who have only played one game) and every game was a 1 goal game when discounting empty netters. There have also been 5 OT games so far this year. If Carolina wasn't going to make it, I'm at least glad to watch entertaining games.

hell yeah, it's a blast to watch close games, especially OT games when you don't have a dog in the fight.

Don't get me wrong, their antics like that in the regular season drive me up the ****ing wall. So do the goal celebrations for a lot of the guys on their team. But last night it was fine, one of the few times it was. You'll see me calling out a team when it's flat out not justified.

I'm loving the playoffs right now so far. I don't think we've seen one bad game yet, aside from maybe NJ-Philly game 1 which was boring as hell to be frank.

And my day was just made!!! The only thing better than seeing the Red Wings lose a game is to lose the series...

If I could pick any team to lose in the first round, it would be Pittsburgh, just so Versus and NBC could stop fellating Crosby during every break in play in *any* game. I'm hoping Detroit, Colorado, Philly, Pittsburgh and Washington to all lose in the first round and to be near the Versus network president when it happens, just so I can see his head explode.

I really hate Washington. They embody the concept of "sore winners." I don't mind the players celebrating a OT playoff win after being down 4-1, but the coaching staff?? C'mon guys. You're gonna need 15 more wins to justify a pig pile like that.

Oh, and I'm not sure Versus/NBC cares either way, but let's not forget about Buffalo, either. Need them to lose, too. No explanation needed.

Add that to San Jose's 'finding ways to lose in the playoffs', list.

I don't believe in curses.

Correction, I didn't believe in curses, until tonight. How can an elite team fail so hard every single year in the playoffs?
