Rocking my Quick USA player tee and my vintage yellow and forum blue Kings hat.

Gonna be watching the game with a couple Canucks fans here tonight, should be fun.

Go Kings Go.
Ok, so if you are good luck root for the Kings. If you are bad luck root for Vancouver. Win - win

Where did you get your Quick tee at? Last time I went to the game I stopped by Team LA to see if they had any and they didn't.

They had them at Team LA when I went to the Kings vs. Canadiens game on March 6th.

If the answer is 4 or 5 on a scale of 1 to 5, I'd call up Bernier if Quick falters tonight.

(addendum: recurring back injury to Ersberg).

Ersberg has played solidly of late. I think they'd go to Ersberg before they'd recall Bernier. Bernier's team in Manchester is in the playoffs as well, and it's important to the organization to get the Kings prospects used to winning at every level. Juniors, minors and the big club.

Of course, you can make a case that if the Kings believe Bernier ranks above Ersberg, that they would be doing the team and fans a disservice by not playing their next "best player", but there's no sense trashing two goalies (and potentially two teams) by bringing up Bernier and throwing him to the wolves if Quick falters.

I don't think you'll see Bernier again this season.

It was imperative given how well the Kings performed for most of the time during the season that they make the playoffs. They've done that. In some cases, everything from here on out is gravy this season. Expectations will go up next season. That said... they can win this round.

That's fine with me since I have playoff tickets for the Monarchs and I would weep if he were called up. But I am just basing my judgment on the fact that NHL > AHL, and anything that will get the Kings to a place they need to be takes priority.

Anyway, it will be nearly impossible to beat Hershey in the Calder Cup. Just look at their records this year. I think Hershey might have made a bid for the 8th spot in the Eastern Conference of the NHL.

Referees for tonight: Kelly Sutherland (11), Kevin Pollack (33)

I like Sutherland normally, but man will tonight be a test of impartiality. Sutherland's home town is Richmond, BC... basically a suburb of Vancouver.

Pollack is from Ontario.
