* The Shock at the Rock never happens without Gleason making that unbelievable play from his knees on the goal that tied the game. I think he deserves his own HWBM

You mean Seidenberg?

Of all the times for John/Tripp to royally mess up IDing a player. That was unfortunate for Timmy.

I researched this before making the post bc I wasn't sure. I thought it was Seidenberg, i even checked out box scores...still says Gleason, haha. I guess I was wrong..

according to Yahoo sports

18:40, Jussi Jokinen 3 (Joni Pitkanen, Tim Gleason)

It actually was Gleason. The team play-by-play man and color commentators mistakened Tim Gleason for Dennis Seidenberg.

Here is a youtube clip if you don't understand.

Clearly Gleason. I didn't detect totakev's sarcasm. Now that that's cleared up, that play was amazing.

It's in the top 5 of Canes plays against the Devils, including:

-Staal ties a game up to force overtime after a faceoff at center ice with 20 seconds left.

-Wallin's overtime winner when he scores on Brodeur after fanning on the shot.

-Weekes steals that game and stands on his head.

-After a week of "Devils are the hottest team in the playoffs", Canes win game 1 6-0.

...and the hits just keep on coming.

I love defensive plays. In my eyes, the Norris winner is the actual MVP.
