you know as well as i do if he was a first rounder he would of got a shot last year and everyone would be talking about him .Thats just the way it works.

So last year, instead of being sent to the EHCL, he would have been called up instead? I find that hard to believe. Not that I don't agree that high draft picks seem to get some special treatment but I don't think that would have changed anything for Bud.

Bud was the Monarchs leading scorer during the regular season and is during the playoffs. Obviously we didn't have a lot of scoring Give him a chance.

Just what I was going to say. They were going to evaluate him today, of course we probably won't hear anything until we see if he is skating tomorrow night.

by last season i meant the regular season that just ended. After you posted that i went back and checked Buds points per game in the 2008 season and found that his where higher with very limited ice time than the two players that raplaced him anyway looks like things worked out just fine.goooooo Monarchs.

First 2,000 fans get THUNDERSTICKS!

Whoever thinks that thundersticks at a hockey game is a good idea should be shot.

they gave them away at worcester on sunday - not enough people in the building to have them be truly annoying.

this is, i think, only the 2d time the Monarchs have ever done thundersticks -thank the lord. for once, i'm grateful that there are likely to be fewer than 2000 people at the game. lol

lol, did the "vocal horn beeping" fans happen to yell "LET'S GO MONARCHS" through the intersection outside the arena? That would have been us then We saw a bunch of purple so we decided to rally them up a little bit, haha

lol! you guys where great!

Any fans going to game 5 in Worcester? I'm kings/monarchs living down in hartford. I'm not sure if i can make up to manchester for game 3 and 4. As i would i have to call out "sick" to work in order to go to the games. :-/ But we'll see. But i'm def. headed back to Worcester for game 5 at least. I want to save any calling out sick i may have to do for a possible Eastern Conference finals. And if we can manage to get past Hershey to the finals i'm just gonna straight request those the days off and go to the games.

Hope to see another strong showing for game 5!!

We'll likely be at Game 5. Good idea to save your time, hopefully you'll need lots of "sick" days in the next month or so, lol

Hickey is practicing with the team and working on getting back into game shape.

Crap, the Monarchs have to give up 3 goals so that Holloway can get the GWG.

They must be using the Kings PP this evening. 3/5 tonight.

Power Play Opportunities-Worcester 0 of 0; Manchester 3 of 5.

Look for some even-up calls in the 3rd against Manchester. Eep!

Meckler makes it 4-0. Free fries for everyone!

Calling it a win. Bernier has had little work, should be well rested for tomorrow's game.

Another penalty to the Sharks...go for #4!!!
