Other Atlanta/Georgia Sports Teams Thread
ASF, I am jacking your post a little here.
OK, doing a little summer cleaning. I am merging this thread with the Braves thread. If you want to talk, Falcons, Braves, Hawks, Tech, Georgia, State, Beat. It all goes in here.

good job by the starters! coaching blunder by putting in scrubs for soooo long. But as long as we win em it's good.

I was there with a friend in 313. Place was about 90% full.
Who have we got in round two when we finish the crappy Bucks off?

We get swept by Orlando in the next round.
I would not be surprised if the potential traffic scared some away. A lot going on in downtown Atlanta yesterday and today.

Wrong. We can beat them though they are the ONLY team in the nba that fears me. We could beat the Cavs and C's. If the Hawks were in the West they would be fine they could beat anyone in the west. They do great against the west every year.

Ya -- but can they beat the "set in stone" pre-determined NBA script and the referees that adhere to it?????
that's why I hate the NBA
Take the Cavs over the Lakers in 7, people.

was it set in stone when #8 Golden State beat #1 Dallas 3 years ago? Or when the #8 Hawks took the #1 Celtics to 7 ?
Lol Lakers would prob sweep the Cavs or beat them in 5.

Lakers/cavs/and magic are all pretty damn good.
out of those im more scared of magic than cavs, and lakers than both.
Lakers vs Thunder is such an exciting match up, Kevin Durrant is a beast, but the lakers are always like that.

Bobcats almost won game 1. They got a little sloppy though at the very end.

Charlotte has always impressed me, they do so good against the Cavs every year.
The Celtics arent amazing, (some think they are). Kevin Garnett is good, but theyre in the worst division playing the worst teams most, and just aren't as solid this year as many others anyway.
I remember when HAwks were 8th seed and brought the Celtics to 7 games and then the Celtics went on to win the whole thing, and we were the only team (I believe) to bring them to 7 games.
Hawks are good, hopefully they'll get past the 2nd round. Magic scares me though

I hate the Magic so much. The Hawks have a good chance to beat ANYONE in the NBA in a 7 game series but them. Not only are they in our division and conference, but we draw them in the 2nd round. Laaaaaaaaaame. Here's hoping for a miracle.

Nice job in Orlando in game one of the second round! 41 point ass kicking.
Can someone remind these guys they are in Orlando to play basketball and not to ride Dumbo the Flying Elephant?

Absolutely woeful.
I don't think they can renew Woodson's contract after a performance like that and falling over the line against a weaken Bucks team.

I think they break a sweat during the warm ups and use the game as the cool down. Expect much of the same tonight.
