I expected a 1-1 series going back to MTL... The Caps were just as good last game, the difference here is their shots actually started hitting the net.

Ref were fine, Habs got stupid penalities, were too nervous with the puck, and dmen were backing off way too much at the end of the game.

The 5th Caps' goal doesn't happen if the high stick on Markov was called. Several times Halak was interfered with and the Caps knocked off their own net when we had a wide open net and nothing happens.

You shouldn't lose when your up by 3 but the refs clearly influenced the outcome of this game and its a ****ing joke.

There are more culprits than just Halak for tonight's loss. But of course that's what this thread is going to derail into, another goalie thread.

**** this league, ****ing joke of referees.

Yeah, blowing a 4-1 lead is a sucky way to lose. Hopefully this doesn't affect their mindset for the rest of the series.

The refs let the Craps run Halak all night; he screwed up the last goal, perhaps, but the result was fixed.

Okay, people wake up calling the League on the win. We had 4 penalties, they had 4...wake up and look at it. Halak didn't make the saves when we needed them, a 4-1 lead and we lose 6-5???

Halak = loss.

If you ever played hockey and got that treatment from the refs, you'd be pissed right now

We deserved every single one of our penalty, Caps got away with twice as many.

Yes the refs sucked however Montreal spotted Halak a 4-1 lead and than a late 1 goal lead and he crapped the bed.

4 questionable goals tonight. If he is this bad in Montreal, its Price's time.

We had them down, but couldn't finish them off. Not a good game from Halak, but he probably should get the start in Game 3 still.

Remember, before the series started anyone you asked would have been very happy with split from the first two. Play a good third game. We can beat them.

Habs are an 8th place team. You shouldn't be expecting much from them.
