Habs are an 8th place team. You shouldn't be expecting much from them.

Put Price in next game. Halak is brutal.

At least Price is entertaining even when he's playing poorly.

If Cammy had not broken that stick with 1:32 to go...I'm pretty confident we'd have kept them off. Not his fault. Bad f'in luck. Whatever. We can still beat these guys.

Your reasoning there is so flawed I won't bother to explain.

Yeah that was a joke. Way to give the Caps an official time-out league when we had the momentum.

Can't believe all the crap that happened. What a joke of a league.

Caps goal #2 was goaltender interference, in fact before that Poti interferes with Halak and should have been penalized. If that 2nd goal doesn't count the Caps don't come back.

We still took 1 of 2 in Washington and almost won this one. Feel like crap.

Got to win both at home now.

You guys are pathetic.

The series isn't lost. Caps won by the skin of their teeth.

Remember we won 1 in Washington and lost the other. Nobody expected that.

Well, Gill's penalty was awful and it shouldn't have been called.

But yeah. Halak was weak on the 2 last goals. And it looked like he was losing his focus pretty easily.

You shouldn't lose when your up by 3 but the refs clearly influenced the outcome of this game and its a ****ing joke.
And one time was more than obvious, it was a pathetic non-call

why? why? why? why? why? does this always happen? team plays awesome, halak blows it (and stop this stupid homerism, he did) and if the team plays like crap? goaltending shines....price wont start, but the scary thing is the caps know how to beat halak, and just like the olympics, he blows a huge game. hopefully he picks his game up monday

Some of you are pathetic. It's not the refs or Bettman's fault, it's the Habs fault.

And it's not Halak's fault either, our defense was atrocious at the end of the game.

I'm sure I'll get some confidence back before Monday night, but I'm afraid you're right. Blowing a 4-1 lead and giving away a chance to head home up 2-0 to the most powerful team in the league is devastating.

Not to mention this board is going to be absolutely unbearable to read. I can already see all the stupid "start Price" posts.

I like people who say not to blame the refs.

Poti pretty much throwing Halak out of his net. Caps end up on PP and score. Gill finishes a check and gets interference changing the momentum even more. Ovechkin can do anything the **** he wants apparently.

So what your saying is that when Markov got a stick in the face and their was no call, that was fine. As the play went on, the Caps tied the game and that was just fine with you too?
