We need Mel Gibson to play left tackle. He needs to bat left, and we need a new striker too. Then .... we need to have eggs and bananas for dinner and when we are done, we should drink motor oil. That's the secret to winning.
No, dress Staubby solely to have him run Anderson and MAKE SURE to injure him enough to take him out of the series.
I still don't know how that wasn't 5 minutes and a game. It was icing and the Avs player hit him a good 3 seconds after touching the puck, not to mention it caused an injury(for a couple minutes). Once the puck is touched on an icing the play is dead.
If the Sharks come back with the same effort, they should win this series and they will go on to win the cup. Theres nothing they haven't faced now in terms of adversity and desperation. Good luck guys in game 4.
dude is a hard-nosed player who has been high sticked in the face and drilled numerous times, and not made a stink about it. he just keep playing hard.
this is the playoffs. he got a penalty for his hit, and that's that. Seto is fine, and the series goes on. i just don't want this board to turn to the lame side and complain about the officiating. it didn't decide the game, and the Sharks answered everything with physical play.

I agree about that and all, but players have been suspended for hits just like that all season. I want to see the league stay consistent, playoffs or not.

He is an awesome player and nobody should complain about his effort. These are the playoffs and there are no playtex ads on the half wall.

Even if the Sharks win this round they have no chance in the 2nd. We all remember in 2008 when they edged Calgary and were exhausted by the time the faced Dallas.
I hate Raj Mathai. Says that the Avs are playing like the 1st seed and the Sharks are playing like the 8th seed? WTF? There's no way he's paying attention to the games and saying this with a straight face.

You can't know who the Sharks' opponent would be or how tough a first round that opponent would have had.
I'll take my place under the guillotine ... the loss is all my fault by presenting a crappy, generic, late GDT and I cursed us all. I'm sorry everyone.

Whoever gets through these first round series will have had a tough series I think.
And for whatever reason I just suddenly got really mad at the Sharks for their performance tonight. Not the effort obviously, but seriously, how many years in a row can you go before you learn not to shoot straight into the goalie and get someone in front of him? Seriously.

Thanks for taking the blame. Something finally is starting to make a little sense. All we need to do is never have a GDT by Nightcock and we are guaranteed to win the Cup. Someone call Tmac and let him know we have it figured out.

We can only hope. Thanks

I agree he plays hard, etc. etc., but you just can't do what he did. I don't expect a suspension, but if there is one, then it makes sense.

I heard dat. Wish I didn't hear dat, but I just heard dat.
Let's get real, he cheapshotted Setoguchi a'la Hunter on Turgeon (not as bad as that but similar style). I want the punk to pay with his blood, bones or both.
I don't care what the refs did or what the league does or if he's been clipped by an errant blade of a stick. That punk needs to learn a lesson.
Warning! Don't watch if your still upset with the goal.
The implementation could have been a bit more professional (black background screen + font), but it got a chuckle out of me

The team played a great game overall, aside from the obvious issue of not being able to score. It's ridiculous to lay blame on any single person, even Boyle.
