- get Ovechkin out of game early
- be physical with Backstrom
- score first goal
- make sure we swing momentum at key times, ex: pk or aggressive forecheck.
- Halak has to come back with a vengeance (most important)

-create a wall in front of Halak and not let them crash like we did on Saturday (to me this is the most important to give Halak time and space)
lol.. after Saturday night's display? I don't think so.
Anderson got the shutout after a 6-5 loss in OT, I know it wasn't the same kind of game but still, he allowed 6 goals and shut them out the next night.
Again, I know these are different teams, different goalies, different everything, but one thing remains the same, it's the playoffs and anything can happen.
I can see a team that never got shutout once during the season being shutout even more then once in the post, it's a different type of hockey.
I really do think they should bring O'Byrne up, have him absolutely devastate Backstrom, even if it means a grey area type hit. Personally I think they need to be taught a lesson, you want to walk all over our goalie who is one of the main reasons we're doing well, well we're going to walk all over Backstrom and Ovy, and even save a little for Semin too.
We need to be physical, make them fear going in front of our net. First time somebody gets up in Halak's grill, a nice open ice hit follow up would be awesome. I can just see OB charging in on somebody like Ovy or Backstrom and BANG.

I hope the caps get shut out.. I hope Halak shuts them out and goes out of the rink twitching in front of ovechkin.. That piece of **** ovechkin
Metro will score all four goals, two of them will be shot so hard that they'll go through the net, bounce back and go past Halak, which explains the 2 Washington goals.
The refs will act like they're going upstairs to find out what the hell just happened, but they'll really be called by Bettman to tell them to count those two goals as Washington's.
Ovechkin and Backstrom will both try to tie the game, but Price will jump off the bench, spear the two of them and then hit a double Hogan leg drop on them, injuring them for the remainder of the series.
