Good memory JT. Mine is admittedly cloudy at the moment.

I would once again counter that while they have so many decisive victories, they play their extra 6 or 8 or whatever games it is against a weak division. Had those extra division games been against us, the Coyotes and the Sharks, they might be singing a different tune.

I think we are very evenly matched with them. They have more star power. We have more will power.

Doughty and Johnson are both better than any Vancouver defenseman. That is the difference right now.

Sweet win. The Handzus line was great and Kopitar was a beast defensively.

... He won 1 out of 11 tonight, and 18 out of 40 in the series.

Kesler beat him in all nine draws that they had tonight.

Just got back from the game..****ing awesome. By far the bes hockey game I have ever been to. From the very beginning, from them playing that Bob Miller video, to going straight into the Briggs playing "This is L.A." live from the 300's section, it was electric from the beginning. Honestly a game I will never forget.
Go Kings!!!!!!!!!!!1

Vancouver still sucks on the road. The Sedins don't perform the same when matched against good checking players. It's easier for the home team to get the right matchup.

7 for 12. Insane!

Aside from some solid shifts in the 2nd period, I wasn't too pleased with the Kings' game.

And they were horrible on faceoffs in the last 10 minutes or so of the game.

I'm a bit out of context but might I ask Shelle or lak4ever who did your avatars? I'd like to get one of Doughty in the same type, if possible.

Thanks in advance

could be saying something like...:

Kings can Dewit

... I can agree to disagree here, and say that the Kings were clearly an underdog before the series started -- but it doesn't matter too much at this point. The Kings clearly came to fight, and their power play thus far is red-hot at the right time.

I think that the offense they've received from Modin and Handzus (4 goals in 3 games) has to be considered a surprise. Richardson has been amazing; his season has been one of perfect progression, from throwaway 4th liner with 0 points in his first 20 or so games into an invaluable Tasmanian Devil who's excelled in nearly every aspect of his game. Doughty and Johnson ... what can you say? The Kings have been opportunistic, and that's why they hold a lead right now.

I'm still waiting for LA to play a full 60 minute game.

Maybe even a 50 or 40 minute game.

If they do that tomorrow, we'll win.

I think I snapped a vocal chord. I've never in my life heard a building that loud. Truly amazing night.
