Let's face it, the Kings just play better on the road.

Also, let's get real. If the Canuck were not so pitiful on the PK, this series would be over already. We have got to find a way to play better against this team at full strength.

I do. He gave up 5 goals in the playoffs and really honestly only 2 he didn't have a shot at and maybe 1 was a toughie. The rest are just terrible....

Did you see Murray asking for the penalty shot with the net being taken off with under 2 minutes left in the game?

Also, how the **** did the net get knocked off with no one but Luongo in the zone? How is that not at least a penalty for delay of game?

That's partially our problem but even more so because three of our veterans (Smyth, Greene, Slow'D) all had poor games with crucial mistakes that led to goals.

We did this game. 5 on 5 for the first two periods was fine. If Quick could make a easy save once in a while we would have won.

Quick did not play well today. Couldn't make a big save at all and he is looking like he did near the end of this season which was really bad. Well, has anyone ever thought of the crappy plays that the Defense has made today? Non-stop turnovers! Sean O'Donnell should be done after this game, just a horrendous game for him. And Jones, well he played like himself. It is Frolov's turn to sit out and it is time to bring Williams back into the line-up. I guarantee he will be added back after this loss. I used to be a Frolov supporter, but as the playoffs goes on, he is pissing me off more and more. Folks, on draft day, this guy is OUT!

This is what is to be expected from the Kings, they're young (their core players atleast) and they're going to have games like this because they don't have that experience.

I really don't think you can blame them to a degree, they just need to grow through this. Look at all the good teams when they barely started making their playoffs runs, they were sept or one and done. The fact that the Kings are keeping it close is freaking admirable.

That's fine and all, but PK is part of the game, And lets give the kings credit for an awesome PP. I wish it was 3-1 but 2-2 is not the end of the series.

Lets hope the kings learn from this.

Indeed. Cannot make mistakes against this team. No way. They capitalized on all of our mistakes.

Reminds me also of game 1, where Jones' turnover cost us the game in overtime.

Oh well, just have to go back to Vancouver and take another game in their house.

What are you talking about? Experience? That doesn't have anything to do with it. It is all on Quick not being able to make a single ****ing easy save. He gives up 5 goals and we lose.... simple as that.

****ing ****. He had to actually work hard to look worse then their goalie.

I totally agree with this. I mean look at Pens when they first got into the playoffs. They were done in 5 by the Senators, utterly dominated. Look how the Kings are taking it to the Nucks, they're keeping it close. They still have a chance to win but you can't say they're not breaking people's expectations.

This.

Hey look. Quick is playing like he did at the end of the regular season... you know... crappy.

Have you ever played in an NHL playoff hockey game? It's a totally different atmosphere than a typical NHL game.

It requires a whole new mindset..

You are kidding right?

There may be just a SLIGHT difference in quality of opponent, don't you think?

Bring some serious argument on, please.

Comparing Bernier to Quick in the playoffs is just stupid.

Bernier is playing against AHL players.

Quick is playing against one of the best offensive teams in the NHL.

How about this... make the save for the shot that you know where it is going before it's even shot... How about that?

Quick simply isn't reliable.

Lets talk about the "what ifs." What happens if Quick repeats tonight's performance on Friday? I'm thinking Quick will still be in for the next game.

Yup. Isn't it great that we have to get more then 5 goals to have a shot?

Boy... that's really great.

I agree, Quick will finish the series no matter what. He could give up 10 goals and he will still start game 6, just pointing out which goalie has stepped up his game in the playoffs.

Is anyone really happy with a 0.903 SA%? That's horrible.

Agreed. I was not saying that Bernier should be called up, just pointing out the vast difference in SA%. Quick doesn't have the consistent ability to make the huge save when needed. Do you really think that Bernier's SA% is just luck?

Bernier SA% in the 3 NHL games was 0.957.

Look no one is happy about the poor play of Quick, but he is going to be ran out there every single game....
