Teams who have beat the Habs go on to win nothing

I'm all about superstition. The Lightning fans have already gone against tradition touching the Cup already.

The Cup is coming to Philly I've heard pretty soon. No one should go near it.

The cup traditionally comes to the conference final cities and helps with fundraising for Hockey Fights Cancer. The tradition of not touching the cup extends to players, but even Lightning staff & employees have been instructed not to jinx the teams chances by even looking at the cup.

So the Habs typically lose to teams that aren't good enough to go all the way and they try to "spin" it into a "curse" to make themselves feel better about it. Whatever. Has nothing to do with the Lightning.

LMAO.

This ranks right up there with Eagles fans believing the Bucs wouldn't beat them in the Vet because of its "mystique."

I touched the Stanley Cup last year in a Sears and Roebucks in Paramus, New Jersey a few hours before game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals. The Devils won that day, won the series and hoisted the very same Cup I touched less than a month later.

I think you should go see the Stanley Cup if you get the chance, especially if you haven't seen it before. Last year, they let the fans have a free picture. It was at a Sears stores in Northern (or Good) New Jersey. They even took additional pictures with my digital camera.

Do you want me to put a picture of him in a Buffalo uniform? It would be the great old blue and gold uniforms. The Sabres wore those in the final game of the 2002-03 season against the Devils.

There's alot of talk that the Sabres are going back to those original blue and golds. I keep in touch with a bud of mine in Buffalo and he says the fans are all for going back to old uni's, and getting rid of the new ones with the "possessed goat" on the front.
