I was curious since I know in the States we get the Versus feed and then the FSN-Pittsburgh feed if you live in the Pittsburgh area.

Thanks.
We get stuck with the CBC crew. But this year they have Gary Galley, one of our usual announcers.

I hate Bob Cole and his continuous use of the past tense.

Kunitz got over the line. Lost it though. Fisher started back the other way, passed it. Number seven for Ottawa scored!

I'm sure I read that we've never lost a game 6 period.

I don't think I've seen a human being say someone is "carrying on" so much in my life.

Didn't we lose to the leafs in 6 when we had barasso...

They won 2 at home, we won 2 at home, then they won the next 2.

So we're probably 2-1 in game 6's.

Besides, it's not like that will have any impact on this game.

We're 4-3 in Game Sixes overall.

We lost at home to Buffalo leading 3-2 in the series in 1997.
We won at home against New Jersey to win the series 4-2 in 1998.
We lost at home against Toronto to lose the series 4-2 in 2000.
We lost at home against Toronto, forcing a seventh game, in 2002.
We won on the road against Philadelphia to win the series 4-2 in 2003.
We won on the road against New Jersey to force a seventh game in 2003.
We won at home against Toronto to force a seventh game in 2004.

Edit: I guess we've never lost a game six on the road in two tries, but that doesn't apply here.

funny how since the lockout we haven't gone past 5 games until now...

06: beat tampa in 5, lost to buffalo in 5
07:beat pittsburgh in 5, beat new jersey in 5, beat buffalo in 5, lost to anaheim in 5.
(that's 6 series in a row where it ends in 5 games)
08: lost to pittsburgh in 4.
09:fail
10: game 6 tonight...

Bob Cole was the best commentator in his prime. He's just too old now. I think it's time for him to retire.

And he would continually describe the Penguins penetrating the neutral zone as, "the Penguins are moving on." Never said that for the Sens. It really pissed me off. Like he's practicing announcing that the Pens win the series.

No, he doesn't cancel out the Bob Cole. Bob drives me, and most of us, insane.

I just put the game on mute last time. I gotta say it was a much more enjoyable experience.

Its more Glen Healy that I hate than Bob Cole.

Couldn't stand Bob Cole after 4 games. I started watching on RDS. And Benoit Brunet is only doing the habs games.

What is the rationale behind CBC giving us Bob Cole when Dean Brown is doing the Boston-Buffalo series?

1. Internal depth chart, dean is #4

2. This series is about Crosby for them, not the Sens.
