427 row G? I think. I always like sitting at center ice better but they were good seats. I kinda laughed when they bragged about their sellout considering the entire arena was peppered with empty seats.

Highlight of the night was my friend called St. Louis the carebear of the NHL after a girl behind us commented on how 'tiny' he was.

It was definitely a fun game to watch, what pissed me off was them charging $15 for an official Caps puck. That's ridiculous, even if I do want to buy a puck at every arena I go to.

US and South Africa tied at nil-nil at the break in their friendly.

Hey CA, are you just traveling around the country (world?) this year? Where are you off to next?

Yeah, actually. I sort of had this plan a year ago to travel around and take a semester off from college. I needed a break, and I absolutely hate Carlsbad so any excuse is a good one at this point. I started out going to Hilo, Hawaii and also Honolulu for about a month total, then to Denver for two weeks, and am now in my third week in DC.

DC is definitely my favorite so far but it's been a great experience overall. I'm staying with friends in every city so I don't have to deal with hotel fees which is how I'm affording it all. Next stop is NYC for a thanksgiving weekend, then heading to France where I'm visiting my extended family (they pretty much all live there, except for an aunt in Israel), should be pretty great. Might try to take some two or three day trips to Italy and Germany and wherever else if I can afford it while I'm there.

That was probably way, way more than anyone needed to know, but there you have it.

PS I went to two DU hockey games, an Avs game, and a Caps game.

In college will be the only time you can do a trip like that. Well, outside of retirement and what fun would it be when you can't walk? That sounds very cool, outside of visiting France, but only because it's about that time of year when the riots start back up and 500+ cars are torched per night rather than the usual 100.

The game itself was fun to watch until the refs ruined it. It was 3-2 Sharks and the Avs had an empty net when the puck got blocked by one of the refs on a sharks clear and that pretty much led directly to an empty net goal for them to seal it 4-2. The refs had been bad all game but that was especially ridiculous. The Sharks fans were truly obnoxious after the game too, maybe the most annoying I've ever had to put up with and I don't like either team.

As for France, ummm, I'm not sure what parts of France you are visiting, but you may want to try some place different.

Alabama 24, Auburn 0 mid 2nd quarter.

I'm about as happy as I could possibly be.

They almost dropped that TD pass too.

BTW CA, that ought to be a lot of fun. Doesn't even sound like the good part is behind you yet. How was New York?

At least SMU advances to it's first ever CUSA Championship game.

Hiya guys. I figured this may be the best place to put this as I didn't want to interrupt the GDT (I couldn't do better than the Red A comment, lol), but I was curious as to how easy it is to find a Stars shersey in Dallas. Like would you be able to go into the local Walmart and find a few or would you have to go more so to a specialty shop? Also, is there more of a selection than what I'd find on NHL.com?

In Dallas, you would either have to go to the arena during a game or you would just go to a Dr. Pepper Stars Center which we have several locations located throughout the Metroplex. I've only been to the one in Frisco, but I'm pretty sure all of them sell jerseys.

And I believe at NHL.com you can create whoever's number & name you want if you go to the customized part of the selection.

Why did I just assume you meant a jersey? Fail on me.

Did you mean jersey shirt?

The fan shops in the AAC have the best selection of jerseys aside from the ones on nhl.com where you have to customize everything. The north fan shop is open during the week M-Sat. 10 am-5 pm.

That's what I thought at first, but that's a strange typo to make. My 'j' is no where near my 'sh' key.

Si. Which for some odd reason I've heard you cannot customize with current players on nhl.com. I'm planning on trying, but if its rejected then sending my relatives with an errand is the back up plan. I wonder if the fan shop would even be able to mail away things?

I wouldn't be shocked if they did. Just call them and see I guess.

They have most players at the AAC, but they still don't have a Benn one. I'm quite upset.

Well you might, but there's still the problem of three other letters getting in the way. If you had written 'sdfgherseys' by chance, I could see that being a typo. A gratuitous one and possibly a sign of a seizure, sure, but an understandable typo.

Then again, maybe my keyboard isn't the same as yours, or anyone else's for that matter. Hmmm.
