I've been listening to TheTicket since 8 a.m. with Doocey and Gord .... I gotta say they don't talk about sports much and a lot of the callers call to bash them from what I understand .... lol is it always like this?

Haha, yeah. The Ticket is only nominally a sports radio station. It's mainly an excuse to talk about anything.

Yeah, if you are looking for sports talk (Cowboys, Mavs, Rangers) then listen from 10A-noon CST for Norm Hitzges. The Musers and BAD radio (5:30-10A and noon-3P respectively) talk about 60% sports (mainly based on DFW sports but touch on national issues too). The Hardline (3P-7P) talk about 50% sports. The only show that will talk hockey on anything that even remotely resembles a regular basis is BAD radio. But the normal hosts for the entire station won't be in until after the new year.

That being said, the non-sports talk is generally pretty funny/entertaining.

Yea i not going to lie, i laughed a lot. Just wished they talked more Stars, since listening from 8 a.m. they only mentioned the Stars for 5 mins and will talk about them later on around 3 ish when i'm on my way home

Most of the day they were talking randomly, and singing haha. My favourite topic was today because it was funny was when they were talking about "The Santa Clause and if he's real"

So How I Met Your Mother is amazing, I could watch that show daily and never get tired. Seasons 1&2 are so clutch.

Give me It's Always Sunny, or The League, or Community, or Parks and Rec, or The Office seasons 1-4. HIMYM is pretty good, but doesn't compete with these shows for me.

Edit: Louie is also one of my favorite comedies on TV.

Looking at some old threads and found this. Funny looking at this now, nobody thought Loui would be as good as he is now and everybody was really big on Daley.

I couldn't agree with you more. I was suggest How I Met Your Mother by a few different people so I slammed through season 1 and it's just kind of there. It's cool if it's somebody's thing but most of the CBS lineup is full of low-hanging fruit. The NBC and FX shows you mentioned are far more cerebral.

It's so weird listening to a game you played in.

I'm #72, if you can figure everything out. Quite a fun game.

Anyone else ever get to do something like this?

So after watching the first six seasons of How I Met Your Mother, usually one after the other after the other after the other, I have to say it's much better than I initially thought. Season 1 stands out like a sore thumb (in a not very good way) compared to what they brought to the table from there on out. The writing is edgier (fairly edgy for a network sitcom) and storylines better developed, the actors grew into their roles nicely, annoying aspects of characters were cut out of the picture for the most part, but most importantly line delivery and overall comedic timing became progressively tighter as things moved along.

Anyways, I'm on board with the show and would recommend it to someone with a netflix account and time on their hands.

I have a feeling Joe Paterno just had no reason to live once he got fired. Coaching at Penn State was his entire life. Kind of mixed feelings towards him, though.
