in the new configuration in the Lower Bowl, it seems like the team Benches Side/33rd Street is steeper. Any opinions?

Any Idea when we might see Upper Bowl 3D Virtual site?

Online ticket management reflects next season's renewal. Didn't do the math but it looks like my seats will be at the $59.00 price and basically a wash with last (this) year's. But no mention of the temporary move or what the location is.

Guess I'll call my rep on Monday.
So I just got off the phone, and they had some kind of issue with the packages that were supposed to be sent out last week. I was told they got it all done this past weekend and some of those should be delivered today, but many will not arriev until tomorrow. No word yet on where my temporary location will be. That is supposedly in the package.

My understanding is that I will be automatically given the 10% off on playoff tix. I need a "shoulder-shrug" emotocon here.

That is all.

I don't believe we have any sections closing. I think that email was stub hub just trying to cover their a%%ses.

Just curious, why are you so upset about being relocated? IMO your seats can only get better...assuming they relocate you within the same price point. Obviously I'm basing this on my personal seating preferences...but I'm wondering what makes you really enjoy being in the corner on the bad end? To me the 7th Ave corners/end are where you start out as a new subscriber before upgrading to the opposite end and then towards center ice. At least that's kind of the route most people take. I started out at that end but moved on as quickly as possible.

Ok, well I guess I'll wait to get my package in the mail this week. After I do I'll call up my rep and ask about closures / reassignment schedules for this year and next. I'm still pissed about the skating party getting cancelled on the eve with no explanation, I need to bug them about that again (they didn't even follow through on the lame central park make-up date idea)

Nah, not upset. I think I'll end up with better seats for my regular price. Just want to know what is going on. Don't want to be put in a position where I have to make decision without all the info I should have.

Didn't get the package today and wont be home until after the game tomorrow night so I think I'm going to call and see if they will see me at the Garden before the game and splain it all to me.

Update via email tonight

"As discussed with your Dedicated Experience Manager, your Upper Bowl seats will not be available for the start of the 2011-12 Season due to the Garden Transformation construction schedule. We are, however, able to offer you an alternative lower bowl location during the first half of the 2011-12 Season, at a ticket price equal to your new 2011-12 upper bowl pricing.

Once the construction affecting the Upper Bowl area around your seats is completed (estimated for January, 2012), you will have the opportunity to relocate back to new 300 Level seats for the second half of the season.

Please carefully review your 2011-12 Season Subscription Information, which will provide you further explanation as to your options and timing to secure your tickets as well as your exclusive benefits and access to special events for the upcoming season. You will have until May 13th to secure your 2011-12 Season Tickets, and we have extended the payment plan to 10 months. As construction continues for the preparation of a new lower bowl at the start of the 2011-12 Season, the Rangers will not be playing any pre-season games at The Garden this Fall, and therefore you will only be charged for 41 regular season games.

Reminder: If you secure your 2011 Playoff Tickets by the March 24th due date, you will receive a 10% discount on your playoff tickets."

Sounds like I have to wait for the hard copy in the mail to find out where this "Lower Bowl location" is. Why can't they just tell me in the email with a link?

OK, still not upset. I have until May to renew, and have the option of a 10-payment plan. Not bad.

Dude, like I said before - log into your account and click pay invoice. The second or third screen will show your location without having to confirm any payment yet

No, never getting an option to view a location. Seems like that would be the way to go, but there is no option to view anything.

Weird, I'm pretty sure there's an invoice you can click that will show you (there was for me). The other thing you can try is go to the link they just sent you:

Then click at the top center on "Seating Guide", "My Seats" will list your section above "New View"

I go there before games now since it's such a bargain. MSG and all venues are absurd with their prices. A case of beer in a suite costs $95.

Rosas Pizza and beer FTW !!

Anybody interested in buying Rangers season tickets for next year, pair of seats in section 112, row 21, behind the net rangers shoot twice on. U pick 10 games you want paying the lowest price found. Face value is 2k for 10 games, but you pick the 10 games you want without paying the overprices tktmast/stubhub/ticketxchange prices found for popular games such as flyers, devils, isles, pens etc.. Please PM me if interested or email me at djv5781@aol.com

Construction has started in the arena bowl, the 300 sections are blocked off. Sections 343-348 the back rows are gone (Rows D-K) and the same for the opposite end. I asked an usher what happens to people in these seats, he told me they have been relocated to suites for the rest of the year.

I would say about 500 seats are no longer there.

They must have just started it than. I had row D in 345 for wrestling on Saturday. I can't see why they had to do it this soon though since the upper bowl isn't supposed to be finished until 12-13. Could have just waited until after the playoffs.

It would also be nice if the MSG transformation site updated us with this kind of stuff and pictures. Sites a waste of space, I don't need to see pictures of the temporary roof you put in place months ago.

Yes, it must have just started because it wasn't like that over the weekend. The sections are blocked off by fake walls made of steel and wood. Looks very ugly.

Would you mind taking a picture or two next game you go to? I'm curious now and I won't be back to the Garden until the final game. Thanks

It does sound hideous though. Concourse behind the sections wouldn't be closed too would they?

Here is a shot of section 323, only Rows A,B,C are in use. That wall continues down all the way to section 328. It is like this on both ends of the Garden.

I must say, if I was in 323 row C and guys 1 row behind me got put into a suite, I would be really annoyed.
