That is the best goalie performance that I have ever seen.

Now, I'm not saying that it's the best ever, but it's the best that I have actually watched myself.

There really was some of that old Forum magic in the third period!

And, I have to say, it's patently obvious that Bettman wants the Caps to win, with these absolutely bogus diving calls. Well, suck it, Bettman! In your face!

Your refs couldn't deliver the screw-job tonight, and it's because Jaroslav Halak is the real superstar in this series! He was the difference maker in every game that we won!

Andrei Kostitsyn with one of his best defensive games of his career, lots of hard backchecking and was finishing lots of hits... so many positives in this game.

CBC can go ***** themselves and this is exactly what they deserve after choosing Ottawa over this lol

I wonder if Ovechkin will now say all the pressure is on his end? Is he the one shaking now?

This trumps Ron Tugnut's 70+ save performance as this is game 6 in a do or die playoff game. My hats off to halak. I've always been a price fan (still am) but Halak has competely won me over. Great game by a great goalie.

Hopefully he folds up like a cheap suit just like the olympics when the chips were down.

I can't believe they called diving on him twice though. I know he dives but even Carcillio doesn't get that treatment.

Maxim Lapierre with a new hat-trick. 1 goal, 2 diving penalties.

That icing call was BS the caps player could easily have played it.

I am proud of this team's performance. They have something that last year's team did not and that is heart. And, nothing else can be said about Halak's performance tonight. It was epic.

I didn't post once in their forum.

Man I am strong.

Coming from Price's biggest fan Jaro stole the show tonight no doubt in my mind.

What a game by the Habs and, of course, by Halak!

I agree

He couldn't finish, but he was motivated

Even at the end of game 5, there was that sequence where he raced for the puck into Washington'S zone, and GOmez almost scored a 3rd goal on that play

I agree actually.

But I thought Pittsburgh plays the winner of the Buffalo and Boston series...no?

In any case, a Pens n Habs series would IMO be more exciting and unique playoff round than a Pens n Caps series. We all know how those pan out by now. Sid beats Ovie....Caps fans whine...yada yada yada.

Guys, they got a disgusting amount of shots on net. I'm still on a high about this win, but we gotta come up with a solution for all these shots. You cant go into game 7 and let 50+ shots through.

But, Im not worried about that currently. Im on cloud nine right now, leave a message after the beep...

Patrick Roy re-incarnate. I'm getting shivers right now. What a game.
