Last I'd heard, Carolina had it through a trade with the Islanders, and I don't recall getting a PM from either Carolina or Edmonton RE: a trade of the pick.

I PM'd you and posted it in the thread.

EDIT - Woops, it's still sitting in my other tab here. my mistake.

I was about to say... the only PM I have from you regarding a trade is the one you made with LA involving Handzus.

What are the details of said trade between Carolina and Edmonton, since it's already a fait accompli?

Anaheim is on the clock with pick #16. The Ducks will have 16 hours total to make their selection; the 12 hours normally allowed, and a four-hour extension because Anaheim's 12-hour selection window extends overnight on a weekday.

The clock runs out on Anaheim at 10:57 AM Central Time tomorrow morning.

Anaheim's GM has received a copy of this message.

Please post this in the Discussion thread, and remove it from the Drafting thread.

Thanks,

The clock runs out on Anaheim in about an hour; time to start thinking about a consensus pick.

The highest-rated player not yet chosen is Medicine Hat winger Emerson Etem. I'll propose him as the consensus pick for the Ducks. Need a second, and a third, from two other drafting GM's in order to make it official.

Has Ottawa been notified that they're on the clock?

PLEASE include a statement that you have notified the next GM when you post your selection.

No offense/nothing personal, but things like this are why I was reluctant to allow people to participate in this draft who haven't taken part in drafts before...

columbus agrees... we still feel that boyes will be able be get back to around 30 goals per season.and even if he doesn't he'll definatly help our offense

PREDATORS PICK McFARLAND, 21ST

The Nashville Predators proudly select left winger, John McFarland. We believe his skill and speed could help our team a lot in the future.

The Oilers have been notified that they are up.
