Wow and Markov has played over 16 minutes already. Keep that pace up and he might break 25 minutes.

One period away from the East having its most meaningless regular season ever.

Have the top 3 seeds in a conference ever been eliminated in the first round?

Buffalo fans/press are just as hard on their team as most of you are on Sather & Co. :

I'll take Regier and/or Ruff any day of the week. So would half the league.

Well this post season is a good sticking point for those who argued that all you have to do is get into the playoffs, and anything can happen.

Yup, you are correct. Detriot (#1), Dallas (#2), Calgary (#3), and Nashville (#4) were all knocked out in the first round.

Wow! Disallowed goal. Man in the crease! Don't they have to review it to see if he was pushed in?

Man, that's kind of an iffy call.

Kinda reminds me of 1994 when Richter was hit into against the Devils (I think it was the Devils, or Caps). Or there was a player barely in the crease and it made the goal get disallowed and the Rangers went on to win. Something along those lines. Hard to remember as I was only 10 years old, lol.

This game is boring. Exactly what the Habs want. The Capitals aren't using their size, they aren't stopping and starting, they are just skating by and keep going if they don't get the puck. This isnt the same team that dominated in the regular season. Ovechkin even looks disinterested. he needs to get involved physically.

Team Bettman has paid the refs to make the Caps lose so it's an easier road for the Pens to make it to the Cup Finals. lol jk

AO is trying to do too much on his own. He is taking low quality shots when he could pass the puck and a better scoring chance could come out of the play.

Game. Set. Match. Montreal.

AO doesn't show up for the playoffs! I wouldn't want to sign him at $8 million per season! He isn't worth half his contract! He doesn't make any of his teammates around him better!

lol
