Listening to TSN;

No 8th seeded team has ever come back from 3-1 down.

Also, Jaroslav Spacek is not on the ice. Looks like Subban and MAB are in.

Would be hilarious/end of his career and life if Price was on the bench wearing something on his head that made headlines before the season even started.

And the night we snuck into the playoffs, lots of posters were saying we'd be better off missing it so a serious house cleaning would be in order. Hell, the negativity was starting to sway me and even I was thinking "What's the point of a 1st round exit?" Well if it is an exit, the team proved a lot. But it gives us some perspective on how to do going forward with what we've got. Not a time to be complacent. Now, if we win, it's jubilation straight on to Sunday. The Caps I keep expecting to play their dominant game but it hasn't come. We've waited and waited and a period here or there shows it, but not for longer than that. They don't look capable of handling Pittsburgh or a Western Conf. foe later on because if OV isn't on his game, they look uninspired. It's a good thing for them they've got Backstrom, Fehr, Laich and Carlson stepping up while Semin, Green, Schultz et. al do nothing.

On one hand, I'm contemplating how it's even possible for a team as good as the Caps to not bring their best and overwhelm the Habs with their skill tonight. But on the other hand, we've played so well in their building. We need to keep up because heaven knows, no lead is safe against Washington. That's why I fear it'll come down to who's better in the 3rd because I don't see anyone, especially us, going into the final frame with a 3 or 4 goal lead. If the Habs win, it's the biggest 3-1 choke of all time no doubt. And we'll have 2010 to remember for the biggest underdog Hab victory in nearly 40 years (1984 could be considered more shocking since the Bruins were 3rd best in the NHL and we were last in our division with a 29 point edge for Boston but we swept them 3-0 while Penney only surrendered 2 goals). We've surprised 3 times already and there's no reason not to believe a 4th is in store but it will be the toughest to achieve of them all by far. A win tonight makes games 1, 5 and 6 look easy.

Montreal Canadiens hold alot of records.

Let's add one to the resume!!!!!!!!!!

I bet all those smug Caps fans are ******** their pants right now, I'm cool as a cucumber here... We weren't expected to win, so win or lose we gave em hell and we should be proud!

7th seed in 2004 when we came back from 3-1

I believe we we're down 2-0 in 2002 and came back to win.

Ya I am not taking the Caps lightly by any means. I wouldn't say they've been ineffective at all. I'd say Halak has saved our ***** and we've done all the other things necessary to weather the onslaught, which is playoff hockey and the only way we were EVER going to be in this position. All comes down to weather we can pull of magic again and if magic is our MO, I'm fine with that. I remember 93, although I was 9, so nowhere near the level of awareness to cause such a high level of anxiety. Just jubilation when we won.

I have a really bad feeling about that one.....and that's good news my friends.....Rarely are my bad feelings right....

Anyway, good luck to our team and to actually all of us. Let's hope to still cheer for a team instead of cheering against a team (Boston....).

Go Habs! Today is Judgment Day....part 3! I do NOT want to have my "Here we go again" signature below my name once more....

Same with me. They have persevered and shown a great deal of heart and determination. A better officiated game in Game 2...
