Pouliot, AK and MAB to the bench. Moen to the Gomez line. PK with Hammer.

How much does Halak's awesome % rating in the past game is because of:

1) His skill
2) The way we play our defense

I know he is showing great goaltendership. But the way I see it, our defenses seems to be putting the right kind of support over him. Preventing side-passes, clearing the puck. Blocking the shots, etc...
if all of his saves were standard saves, you could thanks the defense...but being outshot by so many the last few games doesn`t exactly show great defense...just GREAT goaltending. the shotblocking is critical and shouldn`t be ignored...but make no mistake about it. without Halak this series would already be over.

have a great 3rd guys, good luck.

I'm not worried about that at all. Right now, Caps must be grabbing the stick a bit tighter. Habs so far have been playing perfect defensive hockey. In an all out Caps attack, Habs will get their own quality chances.

True, that is the very last thing we want. Keep the good work, stay put defensively and be more opportunistic. Do not take bad penalties, no turnover is defensive zone; those are cliché, i know, but....true!

I know it's gonna sound cheap, but I hope we can draw a penalty early to slow the Caps down...and kill 2 minutes off.

The defense tonight is a lot better than last game. Tonight, like the TSN panel said, he's just been rock solid. Last game, he was in a whole different world.

If I'm not mistaken it was 38. The habs would be second with 33 if they win.

I wish the TSN guys would please stop bringing up Semin not scoring on X number of shots all game... That will probably jinx us..

I agree. We're doing a phenomenal job of sitting on a lead against a monster offense. Way better than last game.

I'd like to see us attack now though.

It will blow up anyway. Either we're the greatest hockey team ever, either everybody but Halak is going to be traded....

Be ready.

Here's hoping that the 13-3 period was the Habs crappy one. Need to capitalize when the Caps start trying to open it up.
