Having not seen enough of the players born 1988 I'll not include a take on them.
Axelsson however I saw play several times this season

I'd say he is a pretty good two-way defenseman. Great size and reach. Plays physical, sometimes dirty. Uses his stick a lot, when not having the puck himself Joins the rush, strong positioning in the offensive zone. Pretty good skater, okay release. A player with a lot of potential. Tough to compare him to someone, but perhaps a Johnny Oduya? He has yet not shown the same offense ad Oduya did in the second tier leauge, obviously.

While Axelsson has been quite hyped, in all the games I've seen Örebro play this season I have been more impressed by Carl Gunnarsson (eligible for the 2005 Entry Draft). He has good length but is a bit lanky and must buckle up. However, he is very strong in his own end. Plays simple, few mistakes. Very interesting defenseman.

No, he is not. However Robin has some known and interesting relatives
Robin's father was Johnny Murray. Yup, the same afro-american Murray that played hockey for Borås and ALSO played soccer(!) with Elfsborg and a couple of games with AIK as well I believe (during the late 80's).

Robins father is Doug Murray. So what hockeygymnasium will the twins from Borlänge join? Mora or Leksand?

Sorry. I was going to say that he is the son of Johnny Murray. Johnny used to be a goalie in the soccer allsvenska.

sad to see them both leaving, but it's quite understandable.

i'm pretty high on axelsson. the comparison to oduya made by predatore seems to be okay, but i think emil isn't that tough and as pred wrote not that offensive. but he has the tools to become a NHLer if he's working hard and has some luck.
