I wanted to start this thread when I saw Carcillo's brutal diving.
I don't know which game it was, but it was disgusting.
And last night, wow, it was very bad. The refs had to call D. Setoguchi for diving, instead they gave the Sharks 5 on 3.
Babcock called him at the press conference.

I hate diving, it really spoils the game. It really bugs me a lot seeing players dive.

Was a definite dive, was pissed as hell that they scored because of it. I would have preferred that Lidstrom scored on his own net as opposed to a diving goal.

Not only was it a dive, it was also a blatant high-stick, which would have been 4 minutes since Franzen had blood dripping off his ****ing face, but I guess the refs though it was by magic, just like Lidstrom.

Seems most of this is an extension of yesterday's game, and as such if GDT fodder.

If someone wants to start an academic thread about diving in the NHL, that's another thing altogether.
