I really hope this isn't true.....because we're going to regret moving him for a long time.
But you could see how angry & depressed Price was with the media and the team in recent weeks (breaking sticks after losses). I don't even think he can even act like himself anymore because he'll get criticized for anything he says. Probably tired of being the scapegoat in this town and wants to move on with his career.
I think it is BS (not the fact that the OP has heard this on the radio). I can't see Price in the locker room shaking hands saying "See you later, I'm out of here", even if it is at the tradeline. Beside, when Réjean has become a reliable source ?
2. If true, Réjean doesn't work for the Habs and he doesn't have to keep the secret "to not hurt the team". If true, he probably learned this from a player/coaching staff and this person is the person to blame, not the journalist.
I call BS. Nobody is that reckless and stupid to say such a thing during playoffs. That's bad for his creds if true. But i seriously doubt it, during the season, we juggled goalies a lot. During playoffs you can't allow switching goalies all the time. I call BS on Price saying that. Though, I wouldnt be surprised after the playoffs.
I can confirm that Rejean did say that on CKAC. I was stunned when I heard it too. What's bs is that a few minutes later he rant on how today media is all about sensationalism. True or not, the timing is terrible. Habs is having wonderful moment and Rejean came out with this.
&*@^%&* this. This guy has an agenda. Good things from Habs bother him.
