Hey, they could be AHL or ECHL all-stars.

McIntyre's rights were obtained in the Brookbank deal, correct?

I like what I'm reading in their prospect profiles.....sort of.

Why? I don't know anything about him other than the scouting reports I've read. I was under the impression he was just a tough guy?

This year he clearly proved that he was much more than that. He had very impressive offensive stats to go along with his usual hight amount of PIM. He's clearly rounding out other aspects in his game and that's just a bonus for us.

He didn't really stick out to me during the prospect scrimmage. I was pretty surprised at his breakout year as well.

He scored more goals this year than Cormier ever did in a season, just to put his numbers in perspective. Cormier will likely be the better player, but it's still encouraging.

His offensive numbers this year were EXTREMELY impressive. He was fifth on his team in scoring, putting up 24 goals and 21 assists in 64 games. I'm not saying he'll be a Clarkson, but I do think he could be a serious upgrade over the ilk of Leblond and Janssen.

Not bad for a 7th rd pick.

So that leaves Delahey, Miller and Fayne left to get under contract. I have a feeling Delahey might be the odd one out. I don't see all three getting signed. Miller and Fayne both have much more upside.
I hear McIntyre is also a very good skater.

I posted this in another thread on the Devils forum. I think he could be a good leader .. When he goes to the AHL, he will have captained his team to the OHL championship twice in a row (assuming Windsor wins one more game, up 3-0 against Barrie in OHL finals) and captaining his team to at least one memorial cup championship. He has won the memorial cup being down 0-2, and came back in the third round this year being down 0-3. Just saying that, he will be a good leader for the prospects who do eventually make it in the NHL.

I just don't think he has any chance at making it to the NHL.

He is, at least from when I saw him play this season. Sample size was obviously limited, though.

Fraser is probably the replacement for White. Young won't make the NHl for a few years, if he ever does.

It's great to see the Devils "graduate" their prospects. Is there any other articles than CapGeek adding it to their list? I'm curious what the player themselves has to say about being signed to a pro contract, signed with the Devils, etc.

Wouldn't it be great if both Henrique and McIntyre both make the team has 3rd and 4th line centers. I know it's wishful thinking on my part, but we need both centers and youth our line-up. I rather be a fringe playoff team, watching young guys play hard than be and division winner with more or less the same roster.
