Can anyone recommend me a half visor?

Hello there.

I need a new half visor for my Bauer 8500 helmet. I like a combination of protection and visibility. I actually prefer chrome/mirrored lenses but it's not an absolute must.

Can anyone recommend me any good ones based on experience? I would prefer not to spend a WHOLE lot of money, but for protection, I'll be willing to spend $100 if needed.

Thanks a lot everyone, have a great day.

Bauer Straight Cut Clear Pro Half Shield or Oakley VR904 Modified Straight Small Visor w/ Slots. I'd recommend getting a new helmet though.

When I used to have a visor I used this one in the clear:

Never had any visibility issues, seemed to protect my ulgy mug good enough. It comes in mirrored or smoked as well.

I see what everyone's saying. What're you guys' thoughts on the Reebok 8K or the Easton Stealth line?

I have a 6k and an 8k, I bought the 8k on sale, I don't see a reason to spend full price on an 8k over a 6k.

I feel like I am not wearing a visor which is pretty great for me.

You have to be carefukl how you clean them though, I use just water and a very soft cloth to wipe it. Anything else it the visor gets damaged easily especially the anti-fog coating on the inside. ANY chemicals will damage it ... best to use just water.

The anti-fog coat works incredibly awesomely excellent by the way.

The visor is about $60 ... good investment.
