Bitegate At TD Garden

http://www.nesn.com/2010/05/marc-sav...rs-series.html

"Last time Iíve been bit was in grade school. Itís not a good feeling. Itís pretty cowardly. Guys donít bite. Men donít bite." ---Daniel Carcillo

"He pummeled my face, pulled on my teeth, so I guess thatís biting when a guy tries to pull your teeth out like [he did]," Savard claimed. "I donít know. I donít see how that is biting. Yeah, I mean, he embellishes stuff. Obviously, under the pile, you try to pull out my front teeth, so if thatís a bite then I donít know what to say."

But Savard said more and took a shot at Carcilloís rather scattered dental situation.

"I donít know if you want to look like him, but he pulled on them," Savard said with a laugh.

Enjoy!

Carcillo is a friggin donkey anyways.

Shave your face and clean yourself up bro, then maybe you'll have an ounce of credibility.

The actress continues to act. The biggest flopper in the league is calling someone cowardly? That's like Hitler calling Stalin a "bad guy".

Carcillo is an idiot and I don't believe him for a second, he is just trying to stir up stuff like Cooke on Subban.

However, perhaps I am off on this but if someone sticks their fingers in your mouth in a fight, biting those fingers is fair game.

Carcillo is such a terd. He sticks his hand in Savard's mouth and calls it a bite.

The crap he gets away with mystifies me - somehow he draws penalties when he should get them.

He was trying to steal Savvys because he needs some!

Dear Mr Carcillo,

Of course biteing is fair game. It's just a part of sports.

Sincerely,

Mike

Stalin was kind of a bad guy though...

FWIW I believe Carcillo when he says Savard bit him (he's done it before). I also believe Savard when he says Carcillo put his fingers in his mouth. You put your fingers in a guys mouth, they're fair game for a nibbling.

The idea of Savard gnawing on Carcillo's finger like a chicken wing cracks me up. Although I'm also a little nauseated on behalf of Savard -- that's one nasty chicken wing!

They wear mouth guards. It wasn't as much of a bite... more like a local finger massage. Very good for circulation.

I'm more concerned with Mike Richards threatening to injure him.

Someone needs to make a 'History will be made' video of the biting incident.

Caption
'What if Carcillo..... wasn't so 'Finger Lickin'?"

Not sure what you're getting at with the "concocting a lie" comment, but if Letang had his fingers in a guy's mouth, they were fair game for a nibbling.

you put your finger in a grown man's mouth, you should expect to get bit.

What is so hard for him to understand?

Stick your finger where it doesn't belong and it's going to get bit.

Anybody notice Carcillo seems to be targetting Savard more than any other player? Game 1 he grabbed Savard by the throat in the same corner... I'd like to see how he plays around another goon, probably not so tough.

Time line for that scrum;

Boucher makes glove save.

Savard hacks his glove (penalty deserved)

Timonen (or Richards) slashes Savard across the legs (no penalty)

Timonen (or Richards) and Carcillo roughs up Savard (no penalty)

Carcillo throws 3-4 uppercuts at Savards face in the scrum (no penalty)

Carcillo whines that Savard bites him while Savard contends that Carcillo put his fingers in his mouth.

End result - NHL referees are still entirely inept.

Thanks for the lesson on the characteristics that attribute to the dignity of a man. I have to wonder if those same actions mean that flopping around and acting as though he was stuck straight in the mouth by Begin are the actions of a man too???

You know, here`s another case of a guy who, when he shuts his mouth and just plays, can be an effective player, but something within him won`t allow for that to happen. You can be a dirt disturber and still play with dignity or play like "a man", unfortunately for Carcillo, his act is old and everyone knows it, this is all good for the Bruins as the Flyers aren`t a team known for keeping their emotions in check.

They`ll come out hitting, spitting, biting, slashing, hooking, face washing next game and take numerous runs to the box, first penalty next game hands down........Carcillo, of course that is only if he can play having been bitten so fiercly as claimed by Savvy??

You can bet Carcillo wouldn`t take the liberties he`s trying to take with Savvy if it were Looch.
